Further to the tread below.
Unless you manage one of the top teams with money your chances of trophy success are limited.
Bielsa with the players he has had available to him at Leeds has proven his true quality.
With a net income surplus as a result of transfers out, he has produced a team that has been at the top of the table this season and last.
Whilst playing a great brand of football, very unlike the usual kick and rush style played in the Championship.
Given the money and players available to him since he has come in, our display in the first half against Arsenal clearly demonstrated how good a coach he is.

Leeds 1970 agree with al your post . and I love Bielsa.
BUT It's just that if we don't go up this season again . Bielsa will most probably be gone and so will will
several of our better players. and then what?
. we vitally need to get over the promotion line this season. # get it done.

Martyn G, I hear you. If we go up then the moaning will continue. 'we need to invest more', 'we're buying too many players'. It'll always be something.
When people can moan when we're top of the league with a 9 point cushion to 3rd place, and playing some of the best football I remember seeing at Leeds for MANY a season, they'll always find fault.
Me, I'm enjoying the journey, not fixating on the destination. I've certainly had worse seasons supporting Leeds.

Bazooka I enjoyed it far more than the 14 or so before it because last year was progress on anything in the last decade for us. We ain’t Barcelona or PSG With endless funds but there ain’t many others out there playing like us and getting the support like us on the money we’ve spent. ALAW? All I hear is complaining about signings or lack of them before we’ve even done them. Let’s wait until window shuts and see we’re we are then. You may all be pleasantly surprised or disappointed before you jump down my throat and say it but let’s get behind them and Kay sera. MOT BOYS.

How can anyone not be happy about how this season is going so far and the progress we have made. Yes blew up last season, first one for Bubs and first one for players playing this style. Think we will have learned from that. Yes we can moan about odd games and performances and whether a player is good enough but come on we are top 9 points clear of third and performing better this season. Jan window will be whatever it is. Whoever we sign will be what management have agreed on. I have my preferences but doubt if they will arrive but i will be happy with any arrivals that will strengthen the squad. Looking forward to rest of season and i will probably moan at some point and if we blow up again you will never hear the end of it but right now i am loving it. Onwards and upwards.
