They did. Pity Bamfords goal was incorrectly ruled out as goal difference and his confidence would both have benefitted.
Thought ref had it in for him today. Allowed him to be man-handled far too much.

That was a joke of a decision for the disallowed goal, just terrible.
And you’re right about Bam’s treatment too, Canada. He was manhandled all day, but stood his ground really well, in a very physical performance from the lad. He goes up in my estimations every time I see him. Their defenders spent 10 mins on the deck in the first half, but apart from when he took a crack to the funnybone, he just got up and got on with it. He’s close to taking the “king of sh1t housery “ throne from Klich!

I worked out the 'injury' delays was part of their plan pretty early.
My thought was it was a tactic to extend the game. Not waste time as such but extend to they could maximize rests knowing we were a lot fitter.
Was confirmed in my mind when they took for ever to emerge for 2nd half.
Good idea but didn't help them haha.

They needed to break up the game to live with our intensity, rhythm and speed of play
