The individual I can see replacing KP for the defensive midfield role against Terriers is probably Stuarty perhaps with Alfie on the bench. Stuarty is versatile and could surely do a job there for 90 minutes.

I like McCalmont, think he's a ready made replacement for KP.

Bielsa seems to have White lined up for the role, and I'd be OK with that, but with Struijk stepping up at CB rather than sticking with Berra, who is a red card waiting to happen in derby with the dog botherers. Struijk needs to be given an opportunity at some point and next weekend seems a good chance for that, with opposition low on confidence but with a threat at corners and set pieces - for which his height would be helpful. He's also a relationship threat in the opposition box and we all know how few corners we make count. Granted, Huddersfield's main goal threat is the tricky Grant, but I'd back White to cut out the through balls and Berra doesn't have sufficient pace to compensate for his shortcomings elsewhere.

Apparently, Ben White played in Philips position when he went off. So maybe it could be Beradi in the back four?

OMG No. With the plethora of talent we have why spoil a solid back four and play "a red card waiting to happen"? McCalmont, Bogusz, Dallas, even Shacks could play that role and leave a settled back four; settled. If I was going to introduce Struijk I would not pick a Derby game so, sad to say, I think the great man will introduce Berardi!

Leo - you're almost certainly right that Bub will play Berardi at CB, though you can be almost as certain that their captain Schindler will try to isolate him at corners/ set pieces. You're also correct that blooding Struijk in a Derby is a risk, but playing Berardi is arguably greater risk. Having seen him play for the U23s I was far from impressed. Would be surprised if he achieved even 50% pass completion in the games I saw and his speed of movement and though are not what they used to be - surprised Bub feels he has what it takes to play Bielsaball. Guess Bub must have similar doubts about Struijk despite retaining him this summer when so many other CBs left. Bera is clearly popular within the squad, adds to the team spirit squad and clearly gets Leeds but I'd far rather he was encouraged try his hand on the coaching side and either bring in someone in January or promote Struijk to first team cover. It's not like we need to keep Bera in the squad as left/ right back cover. We have plenty of options in those positions and he doesn't have the necessary pace for either the defensive or attacking parts of the role.

If not Struijk against the dog botherers, I'd actually rather move Ayling to CB with Dallas slotting in at RB again, that play Bera.

Ayling and Dallas sounds like a plan cluey but the old man is set in his ways.
