Did anyone else see the article in the Daily Snail about the first ever international between England and Scotland in 1872 at a cricket club in Patrick?
Scotland played 2-2-6 and England played 1-2-7 and the score still finished 0-0 😂.

Do not think top managers look at a set formation anymore, its just numbers on paper. The teams play with more fluidity now and players change position on pitch regularly. Its poorer teams who are playing the top teams who tend to stick with 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 etc. 2-2-6 sounds good to me.
