Anyone else think just as we get going we will lose Casilla to a lengthy ban, being Leeds he had no chance from the start guiltily or not. And to be clear if he was guilty he deserves everything he gets. just think if any of our players get cited for something gives the EFL an excuse to kick us in the sphericals every time.

Agree3 Disagree0

Ox These intentions of theirs were made plain and clear 34 and a half years ago.

Correct George been a White since 1963 and seen it all - still grates on ones nerves though.

Ox It's another compelling reason to get out of this division. My only hope is when we do secure promotion it's either without a ball being kicked or after a home fixture.

According to what has been reported the referee included the alleged abuse in his match report. Don't know if he heard it or just did this because the Charlton player reported it to him. If kiko has done this then he deserves all he gets punishment wise, but if it is just the case of one person's word against another then would be hard to prove.

With all the issues lately about racism and football then I Expect Kiko to be made an example of, que a long ban. Could also spell the end of Kiko's career in England and would not be surprised to see him head off back to Spain.

There is proof. Lots of photo evidence of Kiko in a Leeds shirt.

Seriously though if he is guilty then simply dump him. We don't want that in our game and especially our team.

Why is everyone presuming guilt

The bloke is innocent until prove guilty as I for one am backing him to the hilt

I did the same for Bowyer and Woodgate all those years ago, and yes i was proven so wrong. But i stand by the principle that people have to be proven guilty.

Was 6 game minimum ban, think they’ve adopted a 10 game minimum now

There is no place for it in the game

Although when you look at the fine for spygate vs the fine for Bulgaria recently.

Axe Several reasons.
1. Corroborating witness
2. Well-known racism is considered albeit wrongfully more of a light-hearted subject on the continent causing racial slurs to be more frequent and go unpunished.
3. Kiko plays for Leeds. Guilt by association or have you not been following the trend from the authorities over the last 3 and a half decades?

05 Nov 2019 14:16:58
The fact that there have been so many accusations of racism that have been thrown about and not many actual charges brought the accused suggests that a lot of baseless accusations are being thrown about.

The fact that Kiko vociferously denies it says to me that he didn't do it. And he has been misunderstood either innocently or intentionally for unsporting reasons.

MBTN "Not many charges"? No television, radio or internet where you live? A certain highly informative website beginning with W has a section entitled racism in Association Football. It's quite a large chunk to read and from what I can tell 2019 is the breakout year for such abuse increasing. If you think a denial equates to proof of innocence, you might want to check out of the AI console you're presently in. There are entire legions of examples where a denial still results in a conviction. Expect Kiko to be banned for a couple of months.

Lengthy ban likely regardless of innocence or not. Leeds United need to stop sabotaging each season with controversy and sanctions from the FA and EFL.

05 Nov 2019 22:52:17
George, why are we only hearing about all this racism stuff now? It seems pretty weird that we're only hearing about all these supposed incidents back to back? And they all seem to happen at the start of this season, nothing in pre-season or anything? And yet there are conflicting stories from all spectrums. The media all jump on it to sell stories about these poor victims, sorry I'm not going to jump on the victimhood bandwagon and make villains out of innocent people.

06 Nov 2019 10:51:55
MBTN It's been around for a while. Hearing about it more due to the increases in instances and it's increasing due to a variety of socioeconomic reasons. Many ignorant folk hate on black people due to lack of education, jealousy, trying to vindicate their own poor existence and due to cultural differences in other countries whose response to racism is much more lenient. Once people lose their jobs and go to jail for racism the better things shall get.

{Ed033's Note - What's the current definition of "racism" and how long should people be put in jail for it?

06 Nov 2019 13:50:53
I'm starting to wonder whether these other countries who don't have rules about racism are really the ones in the right.
