I'm paraphrasing but Bielsa has more or less said that Eddie will not be starting until his all round game improves - currently he is not working hard enough for the team (e. g. chasing back etc) . He also said that Bamford may not be scoring but said he is getting into the positions to score and sees that as a positive. I guess he thinks in time the goals will start coming.
So no changes on the horizon for now. We have to bow to the footballing God that is Bielsa and trust his faith is repaid in spades.

Only he sees what happens in training, and honestly PB does offer a lot defensively.

personally i don't think bamfor is the problem i think we need to tweak system in some way
i saw on tuesday the positions bamford was getting the ball in and felt sorry for him and then how he was swamed by defenders. costa and harrsion hold more of the blame than bamford imo.

The Oppo’s see him as a major threat, so smother him. Just a natural response.

think it is also as they don't have to worry about costa or harrsion so can double up on bamford.

Good post and 100% agree. Bamford is working his socks off for the team.
I can't wait for Henandez to get back playing as he is our only wide player that offers a goal threat, or even a creative threat in the final third. Hence your observation that Bamford is swarmed when he receives the ball. Why bother marking wide players when you can be fairly sure they aren't going to cause you too many problems
Harrison, Clarke and Costa need to have a long good look at themselves. Forget the stats and analyse their performances
(I could get passing stats of 100% if all I did is pass the ball on. I could get big running figures if all I do is jog around for 90 mins)
How EFFECTIVE are they? How much are they contributing themselves, rather than passing the buck.

bamford gets all the stick and i do get that to a degree but MB wants us to play like liverpool where sallah and mane both score a lot more than frinmono so bamford is our firmono and doing a good job of that but our wingers are massviley letting us down. Some will say frimno scores more than bamford true. becuase sallah and mane give him more space
our wingers need to do more or we need to stop trying to be liverpool. like George i'm kinda of hoping to see us become a bit more like burnley with a hard working efficent 4-4-2, but as many have rihtly said that also causes problems.
