Going on from the thread below. Always thought Wood was poor . He had a great season scoring goals, his all round game, touch etc was poor.
Very like the season when Clive Allen scored 49 goals ( I think)
I honestly believe Bielsa has done a great job with the players he has, Rads has done a great job for the club, my only concern is the lack of investment in players in the last 2 windows which has cost us very dearly.
Given that Rads will have had in, in excess of £200 million in revenue to the end of this current season.

Whiteman, Rads is doing a good job at the club, he just did not spend in last two windows, maybe costing us promotion last season.
Ridsdale did spend loads of money!

still not sure on rads. my biggest probblem is not the lack of spending but letting young gems go cheap. i keep dreaming of how good veria would of been under Mb coaching and the possible improvement.

Chris chris read all of Radz article. Clearly states 50,000 seater stadium is dependent on being in Premier League. That totally changes a clubs finances.

George, I can see most on heres point of view, while maybe not always agreeing.
Regarding Wood if he was the real deal and with the goals he scored in championship, think one of the bigger boys would have been in for him.

how can anyone slate wood now? he gone to prem and done well. scored today against lesciter. name a leeds striker better than him since we got relegated 15 years back? not sure there is one.

1970 "Real deal" you say. He's a PL quality striker who already scored today. What else you want? Not every player is another Shearer nor do they have to be. Must say I do find your views a little odd.
