Firstly think you have to always pick your best eleven. MB works with the players every day and can see what they are all capable of.
Bielsa has done a great job with the players he has, this is very evident.
The problem we have is we do not have the quality required.
This is down to Rads who has spent virtually no money in the last two windows.
It cost us last season and will end up costing us this season unless he brings in the 3 or 4 required in January, even then it might be too late for MB to get them up to the level he requires.

He says his hands are tied regarding signings because of Financial Fair Play restrictions meaning we can’t spend further on player transfers unless it was one out to allow one in. Points deduction for breaching this, or as it’s Leeds the EFL and FA are likely to throw us out of FL .

Even if Radz provided the funds to bring in additional players in Jan (which is highly debatable as to whether he can) , I feel that Bielsa's stubborn approach will preclude us from doing so as he does not want to unsettle the squad and believes that new players require too much time to get used to his philosophy. We will probably be burnt out by April, like last year and would have learned nothing from the previous season.

Notts Another insightful post. I agree. Another one of Bielsa's failing idiosyncratic philosophies. Puts good players off from joining. Dear Mr Good Player, please will you wait on the bench if you're that lucky for 6 weeks then if you've mastered our fiendish sudoku style of play unsuitable for this league then you have our permission to play with the first team. Hmm, where do I sign?

disagree. sheff utd, cardiff both gone up recently with no where near our sqaud quality
wilde turned barn door billy into prem league goalscorer. it is about manager doing best with tools availble and getting best results.

BW Barn Door Billy was Billy Painter not Billy Sharp . Billy Sharp has always been a successful goalscorer at championship level ( apart from his short stay at Leeds) .
