We have been poor at corners for a very long time. It improved when Jansson was here and has gone back since his departure. Both Cooper and White are decent in open play except for the odd mistake but together at set pieces is an accident waiting together. I'm not a great believer in the style argument as we do dominate but Bielsa has taken his aim of 'stylish' football too far. Cooper, White and Casilla fit Bielsa system. Unfortunately they are lacking in one area. They can't defend when faced with physicality in the box. That's why we suffer at set piece when the big guns come forward. Lack of positional awareness is also a problem. I can see why we let Jansson go and also Wood. We just haven't replaced them. As George we have talented players but not in all parts of the team. Personally I would give Edmundon a run out. We can't see him as a saviour but he can't be worse than Bamford and he might shake things up in the opposition's box. Incidentally Dallas is looking a far better wing back than a winger. Just like Alioski.

Now that post I concur with utterly.

Play Edmonton at centre back he can’t be any worse and we might clear a header.

We conceded from Corners when Pontus was here too. Really don’t get this “ooh, if Jansen was here” rubbish. He was a leaf of lettuce. Gesticulating, and hard as lard. I liked his passion, but he wasn’t really that good.

And had a worse losing record when he played.

Brighty, so when that chant involving a brick was being sung did you privately think those Leeds fans were weird for singing it?

At least he was more of a threat at corners we may as well take them short now no threat what's so ever but then again where no threat in open play at ER.

Yes, I did George. It’s great to have a cult figure in the team, and give the fans something to sing about, but he was found out in the end. I liked him, but he isn’t as good as he thinks he is, and was at fault for probably as many goals as Cooper and BPF last season. Clearly, many other coaches saw that too, which is why he’s now at erm? Brentford, yes, that big team down south.

On that point, I agree Kly. We have posed no real threat on our own corners.
