Many posters on here may not realize focussing on the reunion with Lee but we could well be facing one Jason Pearce in central defence tomorrow.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes not that long ago he was captaining us to 2-1 victory over Everton in league cup. Remember he had his head split open that day.

Love lee bowyer. Proper Leeds! Do or die type.

Ausman You are right. Furthermore, he's been speaking very honestly and intelligently before the game. Has the makings of a fine manager. I'll be content with a point tomorrow.

He can’t get a point George. But I agree
Keep him in mind.

Sorry, but still cannot forgive Bowyer for his (and Woodgate's) getting pissed and attacking some young Asian lads in Leeds. May have been a coincidence, but that loutish incident and it's fallout seemed to trigger a change in the dressing room which ultimately led to our relegation and subsequent years in the wilderness.

Bow used to drink in my local, and while everyone else kissed his bum, he was still a piece of turd. Really not a nice bloke, all pretence, and no honesty. He didn’t care for Leeds Utd one bit. On the other hand, players like Kells, dubes, Harte, we’re top people. Big finger to Bow.

He was Leeds. Clueless bright.
What are we discussing.
My ring tone is made for the man.
He will manage Leeds one day.
0-3 us.

Definitely had a nasty side to him! I loved his football but remember one really bad stamp on another player that made me embarrassed to be a Leeds fan! I agree I think the Bowyer/ Woodgate saga really dragged us down as a club! Can’t sweep it under the carpet! So let’s get 3 points today! MOT.

I knew the lad Aus. He lived five mins from me, and drank in my local. As did the entire Leeds squad of that time. He may have grown up a bit now, but he was a thug, and forced his move away from Leeds.

Clueless You're right and in no way am I condoning the incident. However, if you recall, Bow then started playing like a world class midfielder but I acknowledge it had a different effect on Woody. I've said for the longest our years in the wilderness divine punishment for whatever occurred that night.

Brighty and DSW, Bow obviously had a nasty side to him. Nevertheless, can see him developing into a decent manager and possibly managing us in the future.

Like I say George, think he’s grown up at last, and agree, he’s already a good manager, and will only get better with time. My own comments are based purely on the guy I knew then. He seems to have changed for the better.

Bowyer played some of his best football for Leeds during and after the incident great box to box player and scored goals as well.
