Why can't some people be happy? Top of the league. Second best offensive record in league and best defensive record. Enjoy the football lads it's the best entertainment I've ever seen watching Leeds and that includes Wilkos winning team. Message for Bermo. You must have been a babe in arms if you believe Wilkos team played crap football. Granted we didn't knock it about at the back and were direct in getting it forward but in the final third we played sublime stuff. I truly believe this squad is destined to become one that will be talked about in years to come.

i loved wilko (better than revie for me as his team over performed and had no right to win the league, revies team often dissapointed)
you hit nail on the head, they didn't knock it about, they didn't pass other teams to death, they didn't do tippy tappy football. they went out and got the job done. brilliant, they beat a better man utd team to the league because they are effiecent. they attacked with purpose and defended like warriiors.
when i say they played crap football it is tounge in cheek, so many say you would pay to watch belisa's leeds team play, we played brilliantly, we did this and that blah, blah, balh, I would rather watch a direct wilko team tear a quailty sheff wed team 6-1 or a very good villia team 4-1 rather than belisa team play pretty but pointless football and draw with forest and derby when we are by far the better team
this sqaud will be talked about as the team that should of done this and that but didn't because they couldn't defend and was not ruthless. bring back wilko. imagine what he would do with this team. the best team in the league. he got a far poorer team promoted as champs

we went up because we signed lee chapman an all time leeds great, maybe greatest ever for doing what he did. belisa would not pick him as it ain't his type of player. why would any one want a forward who can score from a cross. what a silly idea. that ain't proper football
imagine batty in this team. not a chance. a player who can mix it up. what a silly idea or a fairclough type. a defender who can head a ball. what nonsense
the things that make football work, the players that turn draws to win and can grind out results have no place in a belisa squad and i honestly am sick to death of it
i long to see a long ball goal or a team where we get smashed to bits, have 25% of the ball but still win.

Berm you must have missed what I said. This team will go down in Leeds history. We will win this league. Ok we have our failings. Defending corners chances missed etc but we are still far and away the best side in the league. Do you really believe Bamford will keep missing as many chances? I see your point we don’t have a big CB but i truly believe it won’t matter over the season even though we will concede from set plays. This is the year mate. We’ve waited long enough.

Current team are great to watch if you like to watch a team pass it sideways. We don’t create enough clear cut chances at all and that could well be our undoing. Pablo seems to have lost it this year - maybe too old - but e have no creativity to unlock defences and even when we do Bamford misses.

notts wall are doing very well for the players they have they are sitting above the position they are in. which should be league one
if we win the league fair enough . no team can do undefeated in this league it is too hard but for me every point dropped is a dissapointment as we should have 100 points this season and promotion secure around April
I hope you are all right i really really do but i knew last year we wasnt good enough and I don't see how we are better. in fact we are by far the weaker i just hope i am wrong but at the moment i can't get my head round it.

More Sunday night boozer based rubbish I’m afraid. Wilko didn’t over achieve, he delivered a similar mentality, and spirit that Revie did, and Bielsa is currently instilling across the whole of the club. People need to be careful what they wish for, as the moaning would be tenfold if we went back 2,3,5,7,12 years back. Just think what we’ve been through, and what we have now! Enjoy it!

we where favs to win league, we should of gone up last year, we have great players and great youth and a manager who is apprently the best. we should walk this league and if we don't that is a let don't and i don't think we will

wilkos own words. we had no right to win the league, we punched well above our weight all season. in hind sight that probably cost me my job as i raised expectations to an unrealsitic level
mel sterland. ' we was not the best team we won through spirit and determination despite our shortcomings as a team.

Bermo we were 20/ 1 last season. Not quite favourites mate. Bielsa turned a mid table team in to contenders. This season we kicked off as favourites and that will prove to be correct.

that year, the champs arsneal, a great liverpool team where certainly better than us, i think many thought (including the bookies) that man utd would finish above us
we was the best because we won it, but the players and manager and bookies and expert all thought we wouldnt. fair play to them again i love that, as a favorite you can only fail. the best football stories are about the underdog and leeds was one of them that year.
