I have always been a Leeds supporter. Leeds born and bred. The only other team I like to watch and see win is Arsenal. I like their style particularly under Wengar and it was particularly pleasing because I'm not a supporter. When they win great; when they lose it's a pity but I don't lose any sleep about it. When they don't win any trophies it's ok. Glad I don't support them as such. Their fans pull their hair out because one week they can beat anybody the next they dominate possession and lose. Their style, even with the players they have is not consistent enough over a season. Sound familiar? Leeds can beat any team in the championship and the way they dominate you would think they would collect over 100 points in a season. They don't and they wont. I like watching the new Leeds. They play excellent football most of the time but they are more frustrating than old Leeds (not the great sides) . Why? . Because they should win more games, score more goals and concede less. With the teams of a few seasons ago you didn't expect much so when they won it was great and when they dropped points it was almost expected. Now every dropped point is an unexpected disappointment.

great post and 100% my point, i don't mind watching a bad team lose but watching a good team underperform is a killer.

I get more enjoyment watching a poor team like bolton or stoke beat an arsenal than watching an arsenal play well.

my hero is wilko he made a good team the best and they over performed while for me MB is up there with the worst as his team underachieves

hock was useless but his squad was poor. warnock is the greatest look at what he does time and time again even with poor teams like cardiff, should of gone down but instead went up. what a ledg.

Very fair points Hess, and I agree, apart from the gooners bit, of course! 🍻.

Bermo, that’s because you don’t actually expend any time, money or effort in actually going to watch home games! If you did, you wouldn’t appreciate going and watching a bad team play bad football!

Quote from one of the old guys behind me on Saturday “ these guys who moan all the time do my head in, I’ve been coming to Elland Road for 50 years and I’m enjoying watching us play good football! ”

I’m with him! Elland road selling out, kits selling out, some people are happy. My advice to you guys is stop stressing out, enjoy the football and let’s see what happens! It could honestly be an awful lot worse!

And it has been one hell of a lot worse, hasn’t it!?

i take offence to that spanish for a happy go lucky bloke you are narf passive agressive ain't ya? each to their own but will dig at who ever ain't with you

i spend a fortune going to leeds at 500 quid a time give or take but still go, and i haven't seen us win since 2002 meaning i have spent over 10k watching us lose without a win and i still cheer us on as i will do this year. don't mean i can't get proper dicked off when we underachieve does it?

Berm you think this Leeds team is under-performing/ achieving?
What the hell were all those same players doing under previous managers then?

100% agree 😀😀😀😀.

I've been watching Leeds for 65 years - except when I was playing myself and coaching. I enjoy watching them play this good football but its very frustrating when they rack up 70% possession and only score once, even with great chances, and then drop points through lack of concentration, lack of height or just rubbish defending. By the way I don't moan, and I've heard a lot that do, I comment on the performance after the game when I get home. That's what this site is for. Isn't it?

Bermo, 500 quid a shot, what you doing, corporate hospitality! I think the supporters coach from the south will get you up a bit cheaper than that! The point I was trying to make was that the people I know who pay to go to every home game would rather see exciting attacking football than watch a poor team play poor football. Didn’t think you managed to make a home game last year but if you do this year, let us know. It would be good fun to sample the real life Bermo. Perhaps if we can get you up more regularly your luck will change and you’ll see a winning game!

{Ed001's Note - and if it doesn't change Spanish will soon change his tune and stop banging on about you coming up and instead beg you to stay away!}

Love the way we play its how the game should be played but you have to win games when you are so much in control. Yes we are only two games in but that was a flashback and needs addressing soon as. Hope Costa starts and Eddie is ready. Those dropped two points could cost us dear at the end of the season so every game is important whether its the 2nd or 22nd. For me the let's see what happens attitude is no good, let's fix it now before we get into another rut of beat Man city then lose to Barnsley. I want out of this league asap, so let's start punishing some teams, onwards and upwards.

Ed 001, fair point! Guess you should always be careful what you wish for! Just trying to make him feel wanted!

{Ed001's Note - there is no need to do that, he knows he is very wanted. In fact most countries in the world have posters up with his mugshot on him proclaiming how wanted he is. They want him to visit so badly they are offering him lots of money.}

Ed001 what’s the charge, crimes against the dramatic world or repetitive KP syndrome!

{Ed001's Note - I think it was something to do with being a southerner with a dodgy accent.}

ed we don't talk about that. i got not guilty and it was never going to stand up in court as the goat couldn't testify

yeah by the time you have petrol, hotel, food, drink and matchday ticket it normal comes in at about a monkey a game, more if i take the kids who are equally cursed.

last year i made the brimingham game at home plus a few other bad losses away and then we come close to making it so i stayed away. i think this year could be the year i break my duck as we normally do charlton so we got to beat them either home or away and ill be at both.

i will be up spanish and let you know it will be lovely to share a drink with you mate

i do agree about the football but then the football under wilko's wingless wonders wasnt always great but i loved that and i am pretty sure there is not a sheff utd fan who would swap with us and they were dross but promoted dross. Personally i would take promotion dross over amazing football which we play but that don't get over the line. i watch city and liverpool for good football and just want to watch us for the three points but then i am a footballing nethadertal.

{Ed001's Note - the courts seem to disagree about the not guilty verdict....}
