It's a simple game. You defend. You pass and move. You score when the chances come up. You try to dominate it both boxes. Simple. However in Bamford we have a striker who can't score unless its an absolute sitter. Cooper, who still can't do a job at set pieces and can't translate attacking corners into goals. Harrison is back to form - can't go past defenders and get in a decent cross.
I blame the management. Because they couldn't man-manage Jansson they sell him for peanuts and don't replace like for like. We sign a young keeper. So we are going to be vulnerable at corners and set pieces all season. People have been saying Bamford is quality and will come good. They've been saying that for three or four seasons and he hasn't so far. If he'd have done his job the mess up in our box wouldn't have mattered.
I am concerned that Bielsa will stick with Bamford and Harrison. A mistake. Unfortunately if he does play Eddie there will be a massive amount of expectation on him and that can work both ways. On today's performance against an average team we huffed and puffed and created chances that we couldn't convert and we looked very vulnerable when balls came into our box. The only real alternative is up front where Eddie N., and Costa could replace Bamford and Harrison.
Can't see a way of improving the defence at set pieces with the players we've got. I Thought, throughout the transfer window, that we might struggle like today, and I know it's only two games in but the writing is on the wall. I only hope Costa and Eddie make a difference because we will concede.

You are talking rubbish in my opinion this is one game, they outplayed forest, they got a lucky goal that should have been a free kick. All I hear is criticism, you're like Alexander oneil, it's 2 games, we played great and were unlucky, end of.
Entitled to opinion of course, no offence but frustrated by all of the negative comments.

Should have put the game to bed but Bamford's finishing was poor. Disappointed with Bielsa's decision to go defensive too early. No surprise we are susceptible to set pieces. Too many balls crossed into the box that was bereft of attacking personnel. The game was shouting for the introduction of Costa earlier to run at the opposition and commit them. Despite Pablo scoring today I thought his distribution was off today.

Despite what I have wrote we dominated possession and should have won unfortunately it's goals that win games.

Hess I disagree . The only thing that was wrong with us was the lady Patricia up front . I thought White played well and we gave away a fair through goals from set pieces last year when Pontus was playing . Also thought Harrison has been sharp this season .

Of course we are all entitled to our opinions and I hope things turn around but possession alone doesn't win you games. You need to convert your chances and don't concede silly goals. I said before its only two games in all might change but so far it's going like I anticipated. This site is to express opinion unfortunately sometimes an assessment that is not is critical is seen as just negative I prefer to call it as I see it and not write things out of blind optimism. There is no point to that. At the ground there is no negativity just support - here is to comment on how it went.

Bamford was annoying but not his fault we can’t defend
White is useless at corners. First one he fouled and lost Dawson who should of scored and second one marking was awful
Secondly Alexander o’neal Is quality love the bloke top referramce.

Hess you have some good points and yes I agree on the set piece assessment, the trouble is when you get against teams who are that tall unless you have a really commanding keeper there's always danger.
I have to say certain players do look fitter and I sort of agree and disagree on Bamford because I think if he hits form then he could do ok .
Ph is amazing one minite then gives the ball away the next.
All told the game should have been 2-0 the foul on cooper and pen call on Dallas.

I use to tell people Alexander oneal was my dad before I meet my real dad as I sing and dance like him, imagine how gutted I was to find out my real dad was a white school teacher who supports Crystal Palace.

Could be worse old wife beater b brown lol, seriously we are all over critical i spoke to a guy today who summed us up as support and we are a religion, no other fans like it.
I was in a bar in Turkey and all the West ham and arsenal fans were saying how crazy we are with our support, so guys early days quite pleased with it so far aren't we.
