I worry about additions. Surely Bielsas idea was to get work done early. One of the hardest jobs is drilling newbies into his high press style. That, obviously is done pre season, in friendlies. How many friendlies do we have left? Is anybody nailed on to join?

For me it doesn’t really matter what we feel about whether the squad has improved it’s about whether Bielsa feels it has and that he has the right resources . I feel that he feels he has. Harrison 2 will be better than Harrison one, Costa will be miles better than brown or Baker, Clarke will have a full year of First team action, He believes White is ready to add more as CB.

He clearly felt that Pontus was a problem in the squad and he has gone. Shackleton has graduated to a bigger role. Bogusz wasn’t even around this time last year. On top of that Stevens, Gotts, Davis, etc have one more years experience in a league winning and penalty winning team. Oh yes and Casilla has had a few months to get used to championship football. My question mark is still over CB, but I think it’s clear Bielsa thinks we are stronger this year than we were last year.

We are paying the man a lot of cash to manage, he did well last year and he is clearly not stupid! I think we might be in for a few surprises and I think we might do rather well. Let’s enjoy it!

Clearly not stupid? Look at last seasons run in. Good case for saying/ alleging stupidity or too stubborn and close minded. Let's see if the 'emperor's new clothes' scenario doesn't repeat itself next season.

Can’t see any additional players coming in now, what we have is what we got, not sure it’s going to go the way some see it, for me play offs at best. Just hope that I see it wrong.

It’s funny how we always like the things that make Bielsa what he is and enabled him to do what he did, but then we want him to change and do it differently! Really isn’t going to happen, he will try to do it his way again and if it doesn’t work we’ll all move on! Let’s see!

24 Jul 2019 10:00:43
Nobody else will be joining. We will play the hand that we have.

24 Jul 2019 10:15:59
Agree Spanish. The thing that baffles me, is, in the eventuality that we don’t go up, and he does move on, how on earth are we going to get someone better? Will we ever get to see the exciting football he brings with him? I for one don’t want to go back to some dross English style lump it rubbish. In fact, the word should not be baffled, but worried.

for the record with MB I am never a fan of a manager like that in this league, I much prefer a sam alydice, neil warnock type. Look at villa and sheff utd managers both play a way that gets the best out of their team. getting sheff utd promoted shows their manager is a class above ours who failed with a better team

great football has it's place, that place is champs league and interantional football, the championship is about scrapping, nasty football and getting the best out of second rate players and nicking results. somthing MB didn't do last season. so yes he is silly, last year he was wrong and this year it doesn't seem like he has learnt his lesson. my predcitiosome great football, some awful results and ulitmatly failiure with a following summer with our best players leaving.

so I do moan but i am consistant with it.

Bielsaball is no doubt one of the most exciting and entertaining ways to play football and if you have the right players you will do well. Pep and Poch have adapted that brand to suit the English game, let's hope Bubs can as well, he has had a season under his belt so will know more about this division and its pitfalls. It boils down to if the squad is good enough and Bubs look at teams like Millwall and come up with a plan.

Brightwhite the answer is Radz had the opportunity and let it slide away, if MB moves on and we are still in this position there is only one person to blame and that the one you support.

24 Jul 2019 13:27:35
Berno, I can see you as a Sam Allardyce or Harry sort of Man, meat and two veg, none of this foreign nonsense!

24 Jul 2019 16:33:52
Whiteman. I support Leeds United. I don’t go to watch, cheer, and support Radz!?

24 Jul 2019 17:26:29
Brightwhite then you can’t complain if MB moves on and we are left with 💩.

24 Jul 2019 20:24:44
Bielsa has stayed, because Radz has agreed to deliver what Bielsa wanted, nothing less. Quite simple. I think the only reason now that MB will walk, is at the end of the season if HE doesn’t deliver promotion. He’s a perfectionist, and doesn’t like failure.
