Morning/ evening fellow posters. I have sat back and viewed all the posts the last few weeks and I now want to add my 2 penneth. Firstly so proud lufc have come down under and to lose 4 nil to the red dirt in no shame. I think the boys showed some good play against a fitter and more costly team. As an ex pom down under I would say give all our guys a lot of slack. I know from personal experience what a 24 hour plus flight and time zone swaps and jet lag does to anyone so to expect them to play at their top game ain't going to happen. They were a half step off the pace but a wake up call. And now we make them jump on another plane and another 5 plus hours from Perth to Sydney and another timezone to deal with and no doubt more PR work as well as the game. Phew makes me feel tired thinking about it. Just so you guys in the northern hemisphere know what their bodies have gone through. I do however expect a better game against West Sydney and at a proper football ground and their fans are pretty loud and wild so the atmosphere should be like a home game. Last thing is where are the local posters going to meet for a beer before hand? Anyone wanna catch up. I need to immerse myself in our traditional pre pub drinks and singing to help me feel alive again. Been 8 years since I saw us last and whatever the score I will be singing with the rest of us. MOT. This season is going to happen and we will go up.

Just emphasises what a lousy way to prepare for our most important season in years this trip is . Bielsa rightly fuming . Shame on you Radz!

hope you enjoy the game mate and think it is great fans like yourself get the chance to see the boys live, as someone who don't get the chance to see leeds every week i know how much it means
i do echo RHC though what a poor way to prepare and MB is fuming and rads has shafted him,
signing MB for second season is nothing more than a pr stunt if you ain't going to listen to him and back him.

I do agree Bermo and I actually said to the wife the other day that if they went back early to prepare more for the season and it meant no game in Sydney I would happily and free if it meant promotion. This trip will set some players back weeks if not months imo. It screws up sleep patterns no end and I think our players need as much rest as they can considering the intensity of training.
