Leeds v Man. U. Nothing changes from last year We create some chances but don't have the players to convert them. Suspect at the back. Cooper doesn't change. He is the opposite of Chris Wood when he was at Leeds. Wood would be dreadful for most of a game and just as you are complaining that the manager hasn't taken him off he scores. Job done. Cooper on the other hand is generally ok and just when you are lulled into a false sense of security he does something stupid and we concede. Bamford is Bamford. He doesn't seem to be able to get back to how he was performing a few seasons ago. At the moment he's a liability. So we can't score enough and we concede. Not a good recipe for promotion.

Hess, perhaps we do have players who can convert them but not playing in Perth. Clarke, Costa, Klich all capable of contributing and there is Edmundson, getting fitter and stronger all the time. Ok it’s only Tadcaster but he gets chances and scores them. Also has a great understanding with Clarke. I’m still not as worried about the goals against championship sides, I’d bet on one of Roofe and Bamford to fire and goals coming from other places as well including more from Harrison this year.
Defence is still the concern . Not just the personnel but the system as well that usually is what leads to the problem and puts more pressure on those defenders left close to the goal! I like White and Struick but admit it’s a gamble, so needs to be a better plan a or plan a1!
