Even though it's only a friendly, good test for us today. Interesting to see how Bielsas way of playing at championship level can cope with premiership class. This should be the kind of game where premiership skill means that we have less possession which also means the defence should be tested more and that should mean at this level we will concede goals without being able to score loads! Given Bielsa won't set up to defend and protect, I can see us conceding a few!

Spanish No such thing as a "friendly" when these two teams meet. Too much hatred between fans. Fans aren't playing of course but it's no friendly.

Georgie, perhaps we should see it as a friendly, lot more important challenges for us this season than this game, a good run out and a test of our style against a league above, but no stupid tackles and no injuries, not worth it! If we come up against them in a cup or league different matter. For me, a good performance today is what’s important, another good run out and hopefully some of the youngsters having a chance.

Guisley were not exactly friendly when we played them. We are playing our arch enemy so not a friendly at all. See your point about injuries but can just as easy get crocked in training. No there are players out there vying for a first team spot and if they are not going to give their all to impress against a PL team then what's the point in preseason games. Doubt very much if the players will be stepping out thinking, OOH I HOPE I don't GET INJURED. No def not a friendly.

Cooper, Phillips and Beradi back three, Rashford and James running at them with Pogba pulling some strings if he’s up for it. Man Utd will change all the team at half time, we wont!
Still a friendly for me chaps and we’ve got another one tonight.
All pre season friendlies should give the players an opportunity to impress, but most of these players only had 60 mins so far. Let’s see!

Bud, not quite sure that is what I said!
Don’t think sides playing for Bielsa roll over! Point I’m making is whatever we try to make it, it is a friendly and for me, prep for the season ahead is more important. I suspect that’s how Bielsa sees it as well!
