Well interesting tour party! Well done to Miazak, Clarke Oduor, Bryce Hosannah, Jordan Stevens and Bogusz!

Can see the logic on those who the coaches have decided need to concentrate on fitness stay behind.

No Bailey, interesting as he was one of the Northern Irish boys who returned early.

One recognised CB on the tour!

Really surprised he hasn't taken Pascal and given him a run out, interesting to see if he will partner White in the B games next week.

The choices of the fringe players interesting as well. No Robbie Gotts or McCalmont who had a good run out in the A team last week.

Have to say, not easy to read Bielsas mind sometimes!

Presumably the team to play Tadcaster next Wednesday (presuming Ayling and Roberts remain injured and Alioski and White recover from their knocks) will be something like:
BPF
Shacks White Strujik Alioski
McCalmont Klich Gotts
Costa Edmondson Clarke

With the following possibly among the subs: Huffer Davis McCarron Kun Mujica Jenkins Casey Kenneth Huggins Mckinstry Kamwa Hudson.

Roberts not likely to return until September.

What has Roberts done now?

Though I may be wrong, I presume that the U23s who've made the Aussie trip are expected to be bit part subs and that it's actually those U23s who stayed behind and start against Tadcaster that are most likely to be called into the first team squad in the first instance - with Bielsa wanting to ensure they get a significant amount of game time.

Clueless, good stuff! Interesting view on the youngsters on the plane . But all of them did have pretty good appearances in their time on the pitch this week . But typically, Bielsa is seeing the other warm up games as important as well so that lots of people get an opportunity to play. But with only taking 16 for two games a few of the kids are going to get some serious minutes, Bogusz?

Minor operation, I think I read a knee issue.

Spanish - I'd reckon that most or all of the u23s will get some game time. Bielsa will prob want to get up to 80 mins for the first teamers v Man Utd. Maybe a little more flexible v Western Sydney, given the quick turnaround - perhaps depending on individual fitness levels - no point putting anyone under too much stress and having them break down so close to the new season. I'd agree that Bogusz seems the outfielder most likely to be first in line to step up on tour.

With Casillas, maybe the club are hoping he'll play a blinder against Man Utd and stimulate some interest. Interesting if someone comes straight in - might see him withdrawn and Miazek given the whole second game. Fingers crossed.

Clueless, looking forward to seeing how he uses the players, but at the moment he’s still back in the U.K. , I believe!
