My glass is normally 3 quarters full and it really was when we signed Costa, but sadly I feel my glass is now half empty for this season.
Without regurgitating what's been said, our defensive line is just not strong enough losing jansson, unless of course they have a plan that we don't know, also we have roofe and phillips potentially not staying this could be a disaster.
I don't understand to replace phillips would cost upwards of 20 mill and 15 for roofe, so pay them the wages based on their value and they won't leave, after all its good enough for Banford and Cassila.

Pontus going won’t have been a surprise to the powers that be. We would have made the decisions to sell Kitching, Aappo and Paudie on that basis, which means that they weren’t seen to be answers to the CB situation. We’ve bought White in and Pascal is not being loaned out or sold, we also have Ayling, Berardi and at the moment KP who can play in that position and the window hasn’t closed! That’s a plan, you might not like it, buts it’s a plan. Georgie reiterated the point the other day that Bielsa has a different view of CBS and it’s down to him to make it work. Look at what Bielsa did with Phillips and Klich last year, why can’t he work some magic with White and Struick? Let’s give him and them a chance before we write them off!

If Pascal went we would have no CBs in U23s with only Cresswell ready to step up from juniors. That would be embarrassing.
