Let's face it if bielsa is the man in charge and bielsa wants Pontus gone then let's get Pontus gone . I'd be more concerned about letting players like roofe or Phillips go if bielsa didn't want them gone . I think all players are replaceable to be honest but I just think we need roofe and Phillips to give it another go with us next season.

Be interesting if KP and Roofe travel to Australia, if either wants away, we want them gone and deals are close, a waste of time and playing opportunities for all parties!

Wex Bielsa only agreed to commit to another season around mid-June. Mid-July now. Timing is about right. You are overly critical. What do you want? What I resent is the low fee. We do need a quality replacement.

only thing keeping me going at the moment is the thought that phillips might be going and at that fee as well. other than that i am worried but true to word i always said any team with KP in it will not get promoted so if he goes and we buy someone semi decent to replace him and a good CB we will be better off I reckon.

True, low fee for Pontus, but its karma. We got a massively low fee for Douglas last year.
That good a left back, that good as an assist king, £3m. Wow.
So if Pontus goes for £6 so be it.
And regarding the fear of Phillips and Roofe joining him in leaving. 12 months ago Phillips was a cake-eating attacking midfielder of limited potential. Roofe was a journeyman forward-cum-midfielder who had been played in various positions and hadn't scored many.
Btw, did you all see the Ajayi montage? There are some bloody good CBs out there that I have never even heard of

Spanish you show how little you know me and the long term posters here will tell you. That I has a swimming pool full of optimism under Cellino and was a staunch defender of him and at times ploughed a lone furrow there. The guys like George corky bermondsey will inform you of exactly how positive my posts were. I'm not moaning for the sake of it.
