Just hope young Jack passes his medical after his scare last year. I wish him well I have pants older than the lad and let’s not forget his agent (our old left back) would have played a lucrative part in ensuring it goes through.
For me (as many have already said) it’s what we do with the money, I’m not against the loan strategy so long as their quality, better than our brilliant youngsters AND aren’t injured for large periods of time.

Good business victor, 11.5 million plus add ons for someone with 2 goals and 2 assists to his name in his one and only season. Big risk for them. I remember toffees offering 7 million for mowat and Leeds fans were up in arms but look we’re he ended up. Let’s hope it’s reinvested on costa.

i think it is awful business. Delph Taylor Cook Milner and now Clarke but they will still want us to get season tickets.

Grayson, I was talking to people at the games early last season and lots of people didn’t know who JC was! He played from the start 4 times. Spurs can afford to nurture his development, we can’t, that’s a fact of footballing life at the moment, money, sell on clause and loan back preference, not bad. The key is what we do with the money. Last years investment particular on Blackman, Izzy and Baker didn’t have any real effect on the first team. Douglas and Bamford, better but jury still out same with Harrison. This years additions need to deliver more to the first team now, which needs Bielsa needs them next week!

Would be happy to see all the Clarke transfer money invested in the team this transfer window. Let's hope some players actually start to arrive at Elland road, rather than seeing so called identified transfer targets signing for rival championship clubs.
