Hands up whoever it is that is a ditherer. Names crop up and articles cry that they are a perfect fit. Then move on to "are interested" then all goes quiet and next we hear. He has signed for X, Y or Z. Somewhere in the chain is a ditherer. It has been going on for too long now. Please identify, negotiate, get it done. Preferably not on last day of the window!

I think that is the more likely explanation TTIAO. Constantly hearing how we 'missed out' on signing this player or that player when I bet we never even looked in that direction. News peddlers know the Leeds name sells papers/ generates clicks so they throw it in all the time for nothing articles. e. g. "Leeds Utd almost guaranteed promotion if they bid for this striker who is a perfect fit". It means nothing yet it attracts clicks.
