Well i have took my rose tinted glasses off and here is my realistic view of the coming summer. I do not expect early movement in the transfer window until some fringe players are moved on or reloaned. Yes i think we will sell at least two players from the squad. If Spurs are after Clarke he will go, why wouldn't he. Roofe, Pontus, KP, Klich, who knows any one of them could go. However these are all Aser assets so do not expect all the money raised to be put back into purchases.
We will spend 8-10mill on a player as we will have to to get a good striker or number 10 or winger. We will then buy a couple of lower league stars or premier flops then supplement with loans.
Positives are we have Wilks, Coyle, Pearce, Nessy, Denton to assess again. Also watched some of Sackos highlights from his season and he looks a lot more composed on the ball and i would love to see if Bubs could do anything with him as he still has the speed and energy to torment defenses.
Bubs will be here for next season as he still has the challenge of getting us up. Radz needs to back him as much as he can. Deals need to be done a lot quicker than they have been in the past and the fans once more need to get behind whoever pulls on the white shirt next season.
Said before everyone sells players, its who you replace them with. Squad of 26 will see us do well next season as long as they are not all U23s. Quietly optimistic and think we will do good business over the summer but maybe not as much as some would like.

As I have said time and again. I think we as a club are moving forward and I am looking forward to the new season like I looked forward to the 1999 season. Full of optimism.
I totally understand that players who have performed well for us this season may want to have a crack at a higher league.
But, experience tells me that until Biesla turned up only Henandez, Ayling and Pontus were actually performing at a decent standard.
Where was Phillips, Cooper and Roofe in season 2017-18?
I think Biesla has helped them achieve where they are now. And in my warped old-fashioned mind I think all those players deserve to show some loyalty to the coach and give him a full season of their new found ability.
If we fail again at the final hurdle then go with our blessings, but also know you will be even better than now, as you have had another 12 months coaching from one of the best coaches ever to work in Britain.
. and I don't care if Roofe winds down his contract in the meantime. He will be desperate to put himself in the shop window and we can only benefit from that, possibly to the time of £170m.

Here's what I think will happen we will lose our best players fairly quickly sign something mediocre and carry 4 deals up to the deadline and lose out at the last minute.

Or maybe be told we have 20 million to spend not spend it and sell a player for 6 million and sign 1 for 7 million and keep the rest.

Whiteman look at the positive side, whilst you are boycotting the club and refusing to go to the games or spend any money in the shop you must be saving loads of money! You can have some cracking nights! Radz being Chairman is your 5 year savings plan, better than an isa!

So Wex, you believe we will sell all of those players! I think up to 4 of those could go. If we only lose 2 of them it will be a good start, any more than 4 very disappointing. I think Jansson should go, Clarke will go if he wants to go. Davis I would sell for 4 million or more, KP I would sell for around 15 million, if we got those offers. Roofe, I would like to stay. A good chance of the others staying.
