Delighted for Jack Harrison on Saturday, shows he has that ability in his kit bag. Needs to show it more often and add it to the hard work and enthusiasm that he clearly shows. I know he has not been everyone's cup of tea but a big hand in one of the most important goals of the season so far. More of that please Jack!

When he gets space to cross he generally does well. He seems to come unstuck when he takes defenders on. Maybe he'd be better as a attacking, overlapping left back?

I said the other day that a 30k to 50k loan signing in January could have been the difference between automatic and the playoffs and Harrison was highlighted as in the price range and not doing much for us. I replied that his goals and assists probably gained us in the region of 10 points. Funny how his pass was the difference on Saturday.

And there was me thinking we’d put that one to bed for the moment! If there are more of Georgie’s nephews like The Shack lurking in the wings, we might not have needed to buy many or any, especially if we bought them in and then didn’t play them!
I’ll be really interested in the transfers that would come in this summer with either scenario for where we play next year and once Bielsa confirms he is going to stay. That will give us an idea of, our ambition and budget and Bielsas real desires. I would imagine he would want business done quickly to have everyone ready to go. So plans should be in progress, we will see!

Spaniard Can you imagine double trouble of a firing Clarke and Shack. Who'd want to face that? 😲 There's still the promise of Bogusz, Oduor, Gotts, Kun and Edmondson. With a truly clinical striker, someone who just doesn't miss, we could be lethal in the future. Foundations are there.

Georgie, without doubt lots of promise and Bielsa does like getting them close to the first team, involved in the training and getting experience on the bench. I think Clarke has been unlucky because his development has stuttered because of his illness . But after he moved on from the under 23s more it was Clarke Oduor who really scared people along the wing, just not quite sure of his defending yet. Jordan Stevens is another one who has a real turbo boost when he wants to use it, needs to keep on upping his work rate but has been a solid presence this year. Of the CBS, I’m pleased that Pascal has got onto the bench, in my eyes he has edged Aappo and Hugo as the year went on. I think learning from Pontus and Coops, he could be a really handy CB and he has the height and physicality . Lots to look forward to. I hope we have a good range of preseason games to support the Australian fixtures and for those who might not make the trip.
