Wanted to give a nod to George this morning for his constant promotion of Jamie Shackleton. Saturday certainly demonstrated your argument. It must have been a bit of a frustrating season for Jamie, first team squad player but with few starts and that has had an impact on his under 23 appearances as well. He has been caught between the two teams a bit. However you can only keep working hard until the call comes and then make the most of it. He did that and moe on Saturday . He seems to me to be so tough, fast and skilful that you could play him in a variety of positions. Bielsa might not be the easiest person to get the starting nod from but he is loyal to his players once they have earned it. Perhaps we have just seen one of the starting berths for 19/ 20 pencilled in!

Well done To Jamie and to his Uncle George!

Spanish skilfully done! I know you didn’t mean to open up a can of worms but despite his laying on the goal on Saturday, if Harrison had been benched previously for Shack to play down the right and Pablo moved to the left where he has played effectively on occasions with a midfield of KP, Klich and Roberts we’d have been able to say BRING ON THE CHAMPIONS! But alas no one listened to RHC 😫.

Spaniard Thanks! I may not be Bub but know talent when I see it and what the team could do with. Ever since I saw him make that run to the byline against the Swans I have liked him. He brings energy and pace to the side but more exactly he has a turn of pace and from a standing start. That's a weapon at this level. Can't see any opponent enjoy playing against him. One, there's only so many players who could match him and two even if they do he's going to tire them out some point during the game. This can lead to assists (and therefore goals) . He should've been used more by now. I want to see him play alongside Roberts because they'll compliment each other. Strange as may sound I'd like to see Pablo sit out Wednesday. Think he could do with a rest.

Contentious last bit George but I think I may agree with you. He has been looking a little off colour lately so for him to play some or even none of the game would be a brave but wise choice.

Leo Pablo can always come off the bench last 25 minutes or so. I can see Edmondson, Kun and Odour making bench for Wednesday given the injuries.

Not sure we can afford not to have Pablo on the field but perhaps on the bench to come on. Be a bit worried if we start without Roofe, Roberts and Hernadez.

Pablo works within such fine margins that stuff either looks brilliant or causes problems. Not sure if it’s tiredness or trying to hard. A lot of pressure on him, senior pro, player of the year for 2 years, constant chanting of the fans. He really wants it but just not happening, but then one ball like Harrison’s on Saturday and he is the hero again!

Georgie as a concession to your call on Jamie, I’ll go with you for this one, Pablo on the bench, omg did I just write that! Por favor, que ha pasado?
