Felt that the comment from the paragon of virtue that is Dean Smith after the game was an insult to the jesture made by Bielsa to allow Villa to equalise. Saying that the decision was common sense is sanctimonious claptrap. Does the common sense and fair approach apply to the blatant diving by Grealish?
I feel that we have paid our dues with regards to the spy gate matter and therefore we don't owe anything to any club and we certainly aren't going to get any favours from anyone else. Certainly not Stuart Atwell, who I can only assume had won a competition to be a referee for a day or was there for comedic value. If this idiot for a referee had not indulged Villa by giving them a foul on demand, just maybe on seeing a player injured we would have put the ball out, but incensed by the numerous cheating we played on and scored.
Yes, their midfield may have stopped, thinking they were going to get their obligatory gift of a free kick but their benevolent friend in black forgot to do his part. However, I saw a Villa defence and goalkeeper trying to stop the goal. The goal rightly stood but I do not agree with the decision to give them a goal back. I love Bielsa's integrity however if the tables were turned I don't think Smith would have reciprocated.

Notts, I think the game was exactly what we needed. Turned a strange atmosphere into a buzzing and fiery one through common hatred of the ref, Grealish, Terry and by the end nearly everyone. The players fought and battled against a physical side and we played some good football. Showed we could keep Grealish quiet again. Lots of positives. Think the Bielsa decision was the right one in the circumstances, got some goodwill and good press back.
Effectively two weeks to prepare for the play offs, try out some new ideas and practice shooting and penalties!

Unfortunately I spent most of the day at Pinderfields with my old ma, seems like I missed a good game 😊 ah well, another home game to make up for it and hopefully my first trip to that new Wembley thingy ðŸ˜.

As we are now paragons of virtue, and have set an example of fair play, sportsmanship and showing respect for the competition, I wonder if we'll get our £200,000 back 😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂.
