Alioski out for a few weeks. Would you play Clarke on the left and put Pablo on the right or just slot Dallas on the left wing?

Personally I'd play pablo in a middle 3, 3 5 2, try roofe and bamford together, but MB won't change.

Leo All of your "options" fail to address the left back berth. You may have said our goalkeeper injured so should we play 2 up front? I'd replace Alioski with Davis. I'd also replace Harrison with Shack. Klich also needs dropping. I'd start with KP and Forshaw. Bench places for Bogusz and Edmondson in my team.

Not a bad shout George . The problem is when Forshaw and KP have played together ( a couple of times earlier in season ) Forshaw has tried to play quarter back in KP’s position instead of playing further up the park . If he can actually stick to 8 this could be effective .

Can't argue with that George. Our left hand side has been a "disappointment" lately. Certainly something radical required. The worrying thing is Bielsas mindset, his missguided loyalty and his stubborness. I have a feeling that he will stick with the basic 11 and just say "you got it wrong now go and fix it". Too late now, I know but maybe not the right time to blood the kids.

Tonight might be interesting bearing in mind the games ahead. Cup semi, full house and against a higher level opposition. Interesting to see who plays on the left. On the wing, don’t discount Jordan Stevens, he has had a solid season and has a good turn of pace. Got a bench bench place recently and given JC hasn’t returned at his best yet, might be worth a place in the squad. If there are to be any left field changes, in all senses, tonight might provide a few clues!

Leo This is when you play the kids, not all but some. Nothing to lose. What Bub got working isn't working. Possession stats remain high but conversion of chances worst I've ever known at the club. Change is needed. Youth only chance we have right now.

If you think about the 4 attacking players that blew teams away beginning of the season . Roofe injured and not back in team or played out of position, Saiz in Spain, Klich a pale shadow of former self . That leaves Pablo carrying the team on his back and now finally feeling the strain . This explains our current form and lack of cutting edge . Bamford, Roberts and Harrison have only stepped up intermittently. Clarke but for his virus may have helped . Answers on a postcard?

Don't agree George There will be far less pressured games to introduce the kids especially when third is not even guaranteed.

Leo Why do you associate youth as being automatically unable to cope with pressure? You know those senior players handling pressure against the Blades and Wigan at home? How did that work out for you?

Put bogusz in the team see what he can do youth energy and a willingness to impress every opposition manager know what we are about throw in a curve ball.
