Well I've got a massive Leeds induced hangover today . I feel physically drained and lethargic and I didn't touch a drop! I've always fallen into the realistic camp and never got carried away after our better performances or positions in the table mainly to allow me to cope better on days like today . But it doesn't help all that much . However, through the gloom I still see that we have a lot to play for this season . Autos are still very possible and if we fall into the play offs I refuse to be defeatist about it . Anyone who says the play offs are Villa's based on their current form are overlooking the cup tie nature of the beast where nerves can take hold and one off games / ties can turn on a piece of luck, brilliance, injury or sending off . No one will want to play us and anything can happen . But that's for another time . Meanwhile let's pray the real Leeds stand up and are counted on Monday . Put in a performance of passion, verve and intensity like we know they can to slay Brentford and hope Hull who can still mathematically make the play offs defeat Sheffield. There have already been so many twists and turns but Monday is now pivotal as I don't see Sheffield slipping up in their last two games .
