Could this be farke”s last game?

It depends on score line and how they play . 5 and over I think he's gone.

29 Nov 2025 00:29:27
No.
He has until Liverpool. He's here another week. 49ers won't act until the fans have turned on him.

29 Nov 2025 07:35:33
I doubt all fans 'will turn on him tho.
There are still many who believe that until a credible and obvious upgrade is identified, and an agreement is reached, that there's absolutely no point in the cost or upheaval of ditching him.
To my mind, there's still a lot of logic in that perspective.
Additionally, and this is a guess, there must be an expectation that we are going to get truly gubbed today, especially after Citeh's midweek performance? That in mind, I suppose this gives Farke a 'bye into the next match?

The cost Dosent matter. It’s peanuts in the football world.
There are hundreds of managers to choose from although if reports are right and Ange is one of them. A. That Dosent surprise me given the current owners credibility and B is that the best you can do?
How can you consider a manager that dyche has shown to be useless.
Aiming high there.
We most certainly will get brained today and we will still keep him until pool.
A mess from top to bottom.
Maybe the fans should direct their. You don’t know what you are doing. Chants to the owners too.
{Ed025's Note - they are very unlikely to change the manager yet Aus especially with the next 3 games being against very tough opposition, if a new manager is to be appointed they will want to give him easier teams to try to get off to a decent start mate..

29 Nov 2025 08:30:40
I understand that Ed. Very unlikely until after pool. But if you turn Farke upside down and check his sell by date. I’m pretty sure it will read 18/ 10/ 25.
{Ed025's Note - love it Aus..

Sell dcl and that bourn bloke and sorted bright. Sell struik. Sorted. Sell gel and dcl. Sorted. Sell mez and throw in dcl. Sorted. I could go on and on. 5 mill is peanuts to write of in comparison to the dross we are carrying. Bright.

We have Chelsea Wednesday and Liverpool Saturday. They won't change him before then.
Opti, give over. The man is crap and his latest rambling tirades are examples of his unhinged lunacy for all to see. His poor tactics have cost us at least nine points already.
28 Nov 2025 20:11:44
For a manager to say to his players at the start of the season the aim is to finish 17th is beyond belief.
I wonder did Bielsa say to his inferior squad the same?
The aim should have been top half because we’re good enough. That’s what he should have said.
Where’s the inspiration coming from because it’s not the man in charge?
It’s no wonder we can’t put games to bed as the players don’t have the conviction to so.
There’s plenty of teams who we can go toe to toe with but we play scared football and only TWO second half goals shows as much.
We need a proper leader especially as on the pitch I can’t see any apart from Rodon.

28 Nov 2025 23:18:26
Exactly cork. They are scared of losing so play negative football if they get the lead. They look confused about tactics and as you say, no leadership. It’s a mess from top to bottom. Have we the quality to stay up? I’m not sure anymore. But we won’t as it is.
28 Nov 2025 00:36:04
Boring boring dyche. 3 games. 3 wins. 9 goals. Now that’s a bounce.

And so they should with the players they’ve got within that squad. I imagine Dyche was secretly punching the air when he was approached for the job.

28 Nov 2025 08:28:40
Do you think our squad is good enough to stay up opti?
Don’t you think a new manager would make any difference?
I’m not sure myself tbh. But what’s your gut on the two questions?

28 Nov 2025 09:34:10
To be fair dyche showed by keeping Burnley competitive for so long in the prem what he can do. Now he has better players he is showing it wasn't a fluke.
In this league you have out think the opposition. You have to try and find that extra 10%.
I think that's were farke is missing out.
Just sending a team out to keep the ball and play possession football is not enough.
Dyches teams have a real drive and a purpose. Now with forest he can be more expansive with his tactics because of the quality of the squad.
Agree20Disagree
28 Nov 2025 16:35:30
Have we misjudged Dyche? Does he select his tactics based solely on the strength of his playing squad, and now he has better at his disposal, is more adventurous?
TBC, I ain't got a clue, as so far, I've refused to watch his teams!

Sure does Chris, blimey. Thinking if a change is in the air the 49ers ain't going to act til an agreement is in place, so looking at the next week they may see it as pointless before the next 3 games which look like whoever is in charge we don't have much hope.
But after the Pool game on the 6th we don't play Brentford til the 14th which gives a small window for a new man to come in.

Very fair point Chris, talk about black Friday it looks a black December and new year! I guess with 2 out Saturday DF is forced into changes but the glaringly obvious choice which I expect him to make is Ao and Gruev to replace rather than a change in formation. Sebastiaan Bornauw is a doubt as he has got some MCL problems and missed the training session yesterday and also today.
But he hasn’t been on a pitch has he? Might need to check out the subs benches if they’re getting injured MCL’s from sitting down.

27 Nov 2025 20:25:20
Maybe a smidge harsh, but the way both have played recently, they won’t be missed. AO should definitely be on the team sheet before either of them. Uber negative. It seems it’s the only way DF can make changes, and it’s when his hand is forced. What about Harry, is there any hope of seeing him getting a chance? Instead of the swashbuckling DCL or BA.
Agree30Disagree
27 Nov 2025 21:51:23
Well C&J, DF simply will not include youth, end of. Look at those who have left. No use, you lose. What's the point in cultivating our future when they just get frustrated and leave, not even a sniff of a bench place or travel in the match day squad.
