Going to be a tough game against Chelsea but home crowd will be a big help.
They're fast on the attack and have many players that can hurt us, can't see us keeping a clean sheet but conversely they are vulnerable at the back.
They press forward but as teams have shown, you can counter attack them and get in behind.
Is Cooper fit to start, if so have in for Koch and start with bates over klich.
We need our pace going forward as can hit them on the break, think I'd play raphi centrally with Gelhardt, my line up.

Meslier
Shacks Llorente Cooper Heldje
Phillips Bates
James Harrison
Raphi Gelhardt.

That's the precise team to play. Concur with the centralization of Raph. Both him and Joffy have ability to twist and turn in both directions unsettling the opposition so starting them centrally maximizes our attack. James playing in his natural position of winger will also help. Still think we stay up.

Mshuter good choice but you just feel from previous team selections that JM as with his predecessor will choose Firpo and Klich over Hjelde and Bate. JM not the man imho to take Leeds forward

Hello George welcome back
Can you have a word with your pick JM :

that perhaps enough with the " motivational " quotes from Ghandi and far more instead on winning tactics and correct team selection.

4 points probably 5 points minimum needed from these 3 games as Burnley will beat the (on the beach) Saudi Barcodes last game of season and may sneak at least a point against the Villains.

Thanks Baz. Yes I too found the Gandhi reference to be uninspired. Prefer to use quote attributed to Julius Caesar or better still its enhanced variation from the movie "Ghostbusters" uttered I think by character Venkman played by Bill Murray. Seems more appropriate given his American heritage.

I think most fans would go along with that selection, but as Baz has pointed out, it’s unlikely Heldje will be chosen over Firpo, probably because of the lack of game time, I’d still choose Heldje, Firpo is really struggling to prove himself, a potential red card waiting, we can not afford being down to 10 men again.
However Bate put in a confident performance against Arsenal and playing against his former club, albeit youth team might want to show his former club what they got rid of. Klich has been struggling all season with his game and confidence.
I don’t think it should be a question in Marsch’s head.
Shacks is a no brainer to replace Ayling.

Added to the fact that firpo will be facing Reece James probably 🫣, what could go wrong?

CC Hjelde would take care of Reece James.

Let’s hope JM mixes it up gents, thought bate looked comfortable and like u say, maybe a point to prove.
Watching Chelsea recently, they’re open to break aways and raphi and Gelhardt could hurt them, worth a punt
Scary times but hoping for 4-6 points over next 2.
