Could Ben White ask for a transfer and say that he wants to play for us. Does being a footballer not have the same choice where he wants to work as the ordinary working person?

I’ve had many contracts, that've been for years, but I could still give 3,6, 12 months notice. Football is weird in that way.

If Ben puts a transfer request in and his agent pushes for the move Brighton will have to sell they are over run with defensive options at the moment so where does Ben stand I say offer 15 mil 20 mil at a maximum and that is pushing it for an unproven premiership centre back.

come on tad,

i am the most negitive and cheif nonsense talker on this site but it seems you are after my crown

contracts now days are not worth the paper they are written on and players have all the power

if ben white wants to be a leeds player he will be wearing white next season make no bones about that

question is

a does he want to play for leeds?
b. do we really want him or is there better value for money out there?

Dunk Duffy and Webster I think are there main 3 centre backs? Surely Brighton will look at white and say he is likely as good or if not better than all 3 now
Or certainly will be . I think They see him as an asset because I genuinely think he could be a future England CB.

Seems to me with their embarrasment of riches Brightons obvious option is the re loaning of White for one more year.
One more year Prem experience.
One more year Bielsa coaching.
One more good year and his value will double.
win - win.
