Could the recent news of GFH-C selling their stake in Leeds United be the theory a few of us had a while back of GFH being a buffer between whoever wanted to buy us in the first place and bates. Now the new owners (whoever it may be ;) ) won't have to put up with bates and will have a new season to prepare for if they get the club sooner than GFH did :)

You have a very good point there. Nobody wanted to deal with KB did they and he was very keen to sell to GHFC. He put up with a lot of delays etc. where you would have expected him to take his ball home and then crow about them not being professional etc. GHFC obviously did a massive amount of work to bring the club to be a more easily saleable asset. If they have been able to facilitate a sale to people who wouldn't deal with KB then they have done a good job and deserve a profit for their work. they have invested to keep the club afloat and no more. Here's hoping the new owners are the real deal and are determined to reap the riches available in the EPL. Maybe there is still a fairytale ending for us all.
