Reports coming in that we've bid for Bowen. Offer of loan fee of £3m with an obligation to buy at an additional £12m. So for Aus and others that's £15m all in. Hull believed to want an extra £4m so parties not too far apart. Get er done Victoria. Would be a fantastic signing and my first choice.

Graham Smyth has come out and said it ain't happening. Apparantly Hull want full payment up front and we just ain't in a position to do it. Pity because he would be class. Adams is a No from southampton, Gray is a NO from Watford and Sharp is staying at Sheffield Utd. I hate to say it but Vydra may be only realistic option available. Leeds might not want to deal with him after last summer though.

Bowen would be one that has enough quality to stay if and when we go up.

Resale value is there so not a financial risk.
Do we have FFP room to buy now?
If so give us the money QSI and let's just get this done.

Not happening. Derby and Weds both in trouble with FFP and obviously EFL are starting to enforce the rules now with Derby being official declared to be in breach and facing sanctions. Angus and Radz have that now to back uo the lack of investment. They won't break the bank for a January signing.

Isn’t his contract up in the summer? If so, (and I’ve been wrong before) , the £3mill, plus £12mill might be the best offer they get?

Hull have the option to exercise an additional 12 months contract at the end of this season.

So what will probably happen is Hull with exercise this and then sell him in the summer when he has 12 months left on contract and not 6.
