Carn't believe everyone is getting excited about signing unproven 2nd division players from the likes of spain italy and germany etc. We are only after them because they are a cheaper option and no one else wants them. This season will be tough if we don't sign some experienced promotion winning players. Anyone remember these beauties? Edgar Cani, Granddi Ngoyi, Brian Montenegro, Zan Benedicic, Dario del Fabro, Adryan Tavares, Casper Sloth, Jordan Botaka, Tommaso Bianchi, and don't forget £2m man Marcus Antonsson. We should of signed these Garry Monk (why no 3 year deal? ) David Stockdale what happened there? Kyle Bartley have we even tried? Johnny Howson looks unlikly with all the unproven foreign midfielders we are linked with, Joe Ledley (free) with bags of experience, George Boyd gone to shef wed will tear us apart next season, Rickie Lambert good option if Wood gets injured and availible for free another with experience, Leigh Griffiths proven goal scorer at championship level i.e Scotish PL. I can see us in January with the same situation as previous seasons lumbered with foreign players who carn't hack it in this tough league.

We do still need at least 3-4 more quality signings. So far we have a couple that may prove gems. Def need more though. And from what i can see or hear. All gone a bit quiet. Maybe behind closed doors negotiations going on. We started transfer activity off well and quickly. Be good to conclude business asap.

Lets just clear something up here Greenfield Investment Pte Ltd now own Elland Road it just means we don't pay £1.7m annual rent. When we sell a player or make a profit a percentage will go to buying the ground so maybe in 5-6 years Elland road may be owned outright by Leeds United but at the momment Greenfield Investment Pte Ltd own it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Greenfield was the parent company and vehicle through which Radz bought the club. Ultimately if Radz is the 100% owner of LUFC through Greenfield or any other business, he now owns the ground 100% and will continue to do so.

Yes. It's similar in many ways to simply investing in the club, they've just opted to do it via the repurchase of Elland road, and undoubtedly tied in with many terms and conditions on both sides. The important thing is, that they see it as an investment into the club, not just an opportunity to try and bankrupt us, so all in all, very positive news.

The Big difference is we KNOW who now owns ER, and whatever end motive he has leeds will only benefit in the future . No more rent to pay, investment can be placed elsewhere plus it won't be increasing by yr . Should the club be sold in the future it will now be a full package . My prediction is that we will see RC buy back Thorpe Arch as well investment will be made so both . It's like making your house look as good as possible so if or when you put in up to sell you get a good price . Don't forget before MC we didn't really have proper buyers falling over themselves .
