Having slept on yesterday's game and read the posts here, I've come to the conclusion that, yes I was disappointed with the result.
For the most part I enjoyed the game, with caveats.
I need someone to explain why Piroe is on the pitch, great player, we are just carrying him at the minute. Crazy idea, play Summerville there, get Gnonto on the wing and watch them expand on what we saw for 12 minutes on Saturday.

I know Gnonto is not everyone’s favorite but I do feel he should be given a start against Ipswich. James has faltered of late and if you go back a little while James was more impressive coming on as a sub.
It’s a little difference that could make all the difference especially the game next weekend.
Willy’s recent substitutions of 15 mins is not enough to cause an effect on the game in my opinion. His last start I believe was against Ipswich where he did look very lively and scored.
Willy’s got a lot to prove to the fans of Leeds United and perhaps more importantly to himself.

Have to agree with you Baz, James is playing well, and did play well yesterday, especially helping Gray defend. But yesterday everyone focused on the bad miss at the end.
Gnonto, actually tried pretty hard in his 15 minutes; Piroe looks lost presently. I would swap them.

What about your square pegs in round holes, Willy is a winger.
As for James it’s his assists that are drying up, I don’t concentrate only on that miss at the end of the match, he was unable to get past his defender more often than not. With Gnonto I find he able to jink around his defender and work his way into the box better.
It might be only James’s defensive duties that does keep him favour with Farke atmo, but as an attacker James has been ineffective in the last two games.
Baz perhaps since you now say, in your own words, you have over estimated Farke’s capabilities, you might want to yet again, readjust one of your so called famous predictions of Leeds finishing 6th in the League.
Perhaps relegation even?

Well one of their goals from that game was a Rodon own goal and another a last minute goal from sloppy defending on our behalf.
So I don’t think they were so free scoring against us, a little fortunate perhaps.

On the contrary OP,
as McKenna stated in his post match Ipswich were the better team
Ipswich had 23. ( twenty three! ) shots to Leeds 14
and could have scored 7 or 8 but were very wasteful for them .
Ipswich also conceded some poor goals too
their keeper failed to deal with a tame shot for Piroe to fortuitously poke home.
The Gnonto goal was very bad defending ball watching, not aware of man on back post
And the Rutter goal too lax tackling
The Sini goal was class though

I see what I want to see Baz ? and that is ultimately Leeds being promoted this season, for me I don’t care what others see or think, it’s all objective anyway, you see what you want to see. I’ve heard this conversation all morning about the Pool v Man U game.
We all have a different perspective on any particular game and that’s fine by me.

The thing is, we won 2-4 and how that comes about is a bit pointless to debate after the fact. It's like saying Man City win most of their games because Haaland scores 40+ a season; the real point is, City win their games, or we would have won easily if your keeper didn't make all those saves.
If we want to attach semantics to each of our results, then we wouldn't have drawn with Rotherham because our last minute goal wasn't offside really, except that it was given; Birmingham should never have been awarded a penalty, but they were. We can go on and on; Bamford's miss against Leicester last year, had he only scored? Points are only awarded for the outcome, not what happened during.
Ipswich hardly looked like they were top of the table this weekend and could / should? have really lost last weekend, but they didn't
I think both Ipswich and Leeds are different teams than when we met earlier in the season; I doubt either manager is ruminating about what went on during that game. I think Ipswich will have a real go this weekend because they have far less to lose than us; they win and I think we can start to forget auto; they have 10 points to gamble with.

KP played well 🤔, watched most of the game and didn't fall asleep. Just didn't see KP play enough balls forward, it was all side but back or straight back pass.

I thought kp did ok lots of sideways and backwards passing but also a few great first time passes and three great long passes
Was roasted by Roberts and gave away a very dangerous free kick ad they can punish you but got away with it last night. Also last night he wore Number 8 and I don’t mind that just don’t like him wearing number 4
Let’s be honest though last night kp was ok but winks and grealish we’re both far more effective against the same opposition.

Grealish and Winks play a different style in Midfield to KP, Southgate wants KP as the holding midfield, Winks is a box to box midfielder, Grealish is the roaming playmaker so I think its harsh to compare there performances, you'll be skating Pope next for having less shots on target than Ings.

Came to see if I was in the minority today in what I watched. Send I was.
Hopefully DF has learnt a lesson today. Until ALL the players are equal quality, you can't play the game of "well you came of the bench and did ?? so so last game, so keep your place"
