The more I think about it the more I think that Juande Ramos will be our next manager, on the back of the news last night about sourcing Dani Salas as a new scout all I can contemplate is Victor Orta putting on some dark sunglass and a trilby and saying "We're getting the band back together, we're on a mission from God".

If the band is anything better than monk I'll be number 1 fan

Anyone else noticed that the new Spaniard that we have been linked to Alfonso Pedraza seems to favour number 17? Guess that rules him out as a "Massimo Player"

Now I don't know if you all get as bored as I do when it's an international break but I thought it could be interesting to turn our attention to the reception Garry Monk can expect when he returns to Elland Road in November. I would like to think us Leeds fans are a little more creative than singing "F Garry Monk" or hissing for 90 straight minutes. In the age old tradition of crowd chants or sing-alongs what can the creative sorts amongst us put together for the visit?

how about a new chant "Gary's Sunk" I think Boro will sliding towards the bottom by then

2.) 02 Sep 2017 13:38:58
Well here goes. To the tune of lemon tree by fools garden. Last chorus. We wondered how, we wondered why Monk would leave Leeds for the Smoggie Sky. Now all that we can see, Leeds are better off with TC. We're turning our heads 'round and 'round but we only see boro when we look straight down. And all that we can see is Leeds adding to your misery. And we wonder, wonder. They're a young group he would say usually after defeat from predictable play. They don't look young to me. You never had a plan B. And all that we can see is Leeds adding to your misery.

I think a hiss everytime he takes a breath
A boo every time he takes a breath A **** off every time he takes a breath All the songs u wanna sing every breath. But let bygones etc etc!

4.) 02 Sep 2017 16:48:08
How about letting the football do the talking. By just putting on another great display, with maybe a handful of goals and TC changing the formation after 60 mins to show we have a plan b?

5.) 02 Sep 2017 17:30:39
To be fair just as we like to sing 'We're not famous anymore' I do love to hear 'Leeds are falling apart again' irony is the best response in my book. MM

Just what I was thinking, that and a couple of snakes in the shower head?

7.) 03 Sep 2017 08:27:18
How about changing "Leeds are falling apart" to "Leeds have torn you apart" every time we score !

8.) 03 Sep 2017 10:04:11
My view is that when Mr Monk and his team come calling we show them on the pitch how much we have I proved with an emphatic win and three points. Last year was part of our progress, and makes this year more possible. Hopefully the club and the players have learnt from what happened in the last few weeks of the season. But the future is here and now, better players, better style of football and probably better more adaptable coach. Personally it's wolves that I can't wait to see us up against, after a few more weeks to oil our machine, should be a great match and a way of seeing just how good the season could be!

Who else thinks Liam Cooper is going to have another crack at Reece Oxford when we face off against Borussia Monchengladbach? Based on his last attempt I don't think the nickname "Coop de grâce" is out of order.

What makes you think he will be Leeds? Not worth a place on the bench. Need to forward. MOT

I don't often post on here but now that I have had time to digest the events of last night I thought that I would throw in my two bobs. Just like a late goal scored against us that leads to a draw feels more like a loss I can't help but feeling slightly gutted that we have let slip a relatively comfortable situation of a few weeks back to the one that we currently find ourselves in.

That being said though if I had been offered a 7th place finish a few games in to the start of this season I would have practically snatched at it, who would have thought after Fulham where most corners of the fanbase were feeling indignant at Chris Woods ear cupping celebration that a) he would be top of the scoring charts and b) that Leeds would still be in with a chance at the play-offs rather than wearily limping into mathematical security in the lower half of the table?

The fact of the matter is we are a mid table team that has been winning games more through sheer grit than outstanding quality, it speaks volumes that our two most popular candidates for player of the year are a striker and our goalkeeper. I know that many in the various forums that Leeds Fans congregate have decided after last night we are done and that's all folks but until we are mathematically out of contention I will still believe, it may be out of our hands but we still have a punchers chance of gatecrashing this year's play-offs.

Now what I say next may be met with ridicule but I think we will overhaul the wendies if we can topple Norwich, they face the tractor boys who are a tough nut to crack at home then it is Fulham who I feel could walk the play-offs regardless of opposition. If this happens I wouldn't want to be Michael Vaughan

Mowatt back in No.27 now I know its only preseason but it strikes me as a bit odd that he has reverted to his first number again.

Don't often post on here but was thinking today how upset would Chris Wood be right now looking at the position that Leicester currently occupy, now I am not suggesting that he would have featured heavily especially considering when it comes to picking his team Ranieri is as predictable as an Aussie Summer (It will be hot) but it is not out of the realms of possibility that Wood could have scraped together 5 subs appearances. Its the sort of thing that could keep a fella up at night or at least have him daydreaming when glorious opportunities come his way in the 6 yard box. Food for thought.

Vardy and Wood could have been like Sutton and shearer.

2.) 12 Apr 2016 12:34:10
I have problem with him. I very like him and think that he is a good striker, look how many "100%" situation he has during a match, his positioning is vary good he finds opportunities but has problem with using them it is problem with his mind, he is still young, probably never played on stadium with such intense atmosphere were support has expectations bigger than people running the club and players playing for it. This players are accustomed for playing in lower divisions and are not enough mentally strong to play for a club whose supporters have premier league and winning mentality (at least most of them) . This is a big problem for him and many other players and this is for my one of the many reasons why we are in such plight. It is a curse of Leeds United, of the club in fall undermined by poor management and its former glory.

3.) 12 Apr 2016 12:59:16
How many goals would've Wood heading in from Mahrez's crosses?

Gus Poyet - for 6 reasons 1. Would get fans back on side after the rubbish treatment of Steve Evans 2. Would understand the size of the role offered, 3. Foreign 4. Knows English Leagues 5. Seems to have some tactical nous (in either winning or losing situations) and 6. Could result in a season ticket bump if announced the right way.

All in all seems far too reasonable a choice to even be considered by ol' Mas.

Cheers Boys,

Yeah Ausman got it all set! Prime time over here! I was just joking with a mate the other day that one of the perks to being a leeds fan abroad is so many televised games. Most clubs we face away get a bit nervous of the hoard coming to town so try to schedule lunchtime kick-offs.

Thanks for your help on the kit front.
