As Biesla has already named his squad for Norwich. how good is it to support a team that can take on second place in the do vision WITHOUT a £10million winger. Not a centre forward, a winger
This time last year I would have just been happy to keep the score down

Have to say, even if we miss out on promotion this year (i know, heresy but bear with me) , I can't see any but Janssen and Roofe being tempted to the Premiership. Phillip's possibly but I think he can see hometown glory. What a team/ squad we are creating.

Fee agreed with Boro for Bamford, £7m rising to £10 with add ons! If we can secure Vydra or similar, and a quality CB to sit along side Pontus, with Douglas joining we should be laughing.

Maybe he hasn't scored too many goals recently, but if we were also to get Vydra and Douglas. Them two, saiz baker and Hernandez giving the ball to him on a plate, surely he'll score a hatful? Or maybe wishful thinking.

Personally think at 24 bamford will know its make or break, if he starts the way lasogga did at ER he will be a flyer. Ultimately he's not had someone at boro who has layed it on a plate for him week in week out. With ayling and baz whipping them in, saiz, baker, Hernandez, Forshaw all supplying, were going to get goals I know it. he just needs to see someone who can get 10-15.

A number of different sites mentioning the potential loan of Foden and Diaz from Man City, seems to be gathering momentum. If we can get them over the line and get a front man and a CB, we should have a pretty decent squad that could challenge (in my opinion)

I have read articles that state Bielsa is happy with his central defensive options and only wants a left back and a striker. I hope this is not the case as we will be severely expose if injuries/ suspensions occur. Also I believe I am right in that we have conceded in the last two friendlies from corners. Does not bode well.

Other woody, we have played well in some of the defeats but we were awful at stoke, I don’t think we really deserved anything from that game, Ayling header 5 mins from time and Alioski shot for the goal is all we created in 90 mins, and we were chasing the game at that point, the attack was too laboured and the ball didn’t get moved quick enough all game to cause stoke any problems. tbf to MB he didn’t have a great deal on the bench to alter things. hopefully a win at Rotherham will set it up nicely for Norwich the wk after. we are desperate for more attacking options on the bench.

Some absolutely awful performances.
Ayling looked like a Sunday league player, he should lose his place, Douglas, when he came on looked 5 matches away from being sharp enough, Pablo wasn't at the races and Alioski is defiantly more effective at full back, as soon as he went up the field, he started falling over again.
Not happy but Norwich are a very good team, closed us down and won every second ball.
We are on a very poor run that needs to end next week against Boro!

I agree with you George, Swansea aren't going up or down, so why would they risk £10m for a few months?
Money is agreed so they are prepared to do business, just timing!
I hope we do complete the deal, as we could lose him to a wealthier team in the Premier come the summer time!
