Bates and Warnock seem to be not communicating at all? Warnock says he wants two or three in before the en of the month and Bates says there will be no movement for a month or so? Also he's pretty confident about everyone signing a contract except Aidy White and he think Tom Lees will partner Jason Pearce next season.

Believable12 Unbelievable14

What they say publicly is likely to be very different to what's going on behind the scenes. don't get too worked up about it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmm, this concerns me too. They do appear to be singing from different hymn sheets don't they?

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with first comment why would they let everyone know what they are doing? So much negativity

John pantsill Is avalible on a free from
leicester, can play in defence or the
holding midfield also has premier league
Experience, could fill the lb position

LUFC

Believable18 Unbelievable11

Hes only really played right back in his time at fulham and leicester but he would be a significant improvement on connolly

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, he could be the experienced head we need at the back. Can be another utility player too

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought he was pretty solid when he played right back for Fulham, he would be a good signing.

Leeds United have signed Greek Youngster Pelopidas Mpouloukis from Arxidia FC.

Believable9 Unbelievable16

Leeds have also been reported to be interesting in signing Abu Hamza

Agree0 Disagree0

Sources please! If it aint on the LUFC website then it hasn't happened right?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it true? Also what league is he from and what country is the league in

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a made up club on FIFA. Ed, any way of just canning crap like this. Takes the pee out of your dedication and time? {Ed037's Note - Yeah, sorry mate, didn't know the club was fake}

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds are also signing Onlyidiotsmakeup Imaginaryplayersnames from Getalife FC {Ed013's Note - The first real rumour I have seen on here!}

news flash beckford signs said he drop wages abit to play for leeds agine mot {Ed037's Note - Source?}

Believable20 Unbelievable19

Are you the same guy who claimed that George Boyd had "singed" a four year deal?

Agree0 Disagree0

Beckford beckford beckford im aleeds fan and he did a fantastic job for us in his time at the club but honestly the way people are going on about him you would think we were signing messi. what we need is progression we leeds fans sometimes need to realise that we need to build a team it will not happen overnight have patience an the good times will return

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes its true he signed at 7pm tonight sky sports

Agree0 Disagree0

Signed at 7pm tonight ? Was there such a rush and urgency to sign so late in the evening or were you just dreaming as you sat at the bar bored. 'Get a life'

Agree0 Disagree0

I was watching sky sports non stop from 6 till now certainly didnt say that at 7, nice try though better luck next time

Agree0 Disagree0

How many season's did we have Beckford, 2/3 & we got promoted 1 of them & by the way that was out of league 1, Leicester spent a fortune last season and where did it get them, sorry guys as much as I love him it's not the forwards we are lacking, get a solid midfield & defence behind them & then somebody like Beckford might be worth looking at, not that I think Uncle Ken would even consider his wages....

Agree0 Disagree0

We only have Becchio and McCormack as fit strikers, and McCormack has 1 yr left on his contract. We lack pace throughout the side, I know he's not messi but he is a good player and has a great affiliation with Leeds, like people say the only sticking point is wages.

Agree0 Disagree0

I posted last week on Beckford, he left for holiday via Birmingham Airport last week...no chance of him signing or even talking to Leeds while he is on holiday.

Leeds wouldnt pay Howson £16K/week which is what he is on at Norwich and im sure Beckford would want at least that

Agree0 Disagree0

From what ive been told Howson wanted 25k, if you think he is on 16k at Norwich you got to be kidding.

Leeds to sign Killgallon from Sunderland. Worked under Warnock before and he's keen on returning to Elland Road. MOTMOTMOTMOTMOT

Believable26 Unbelievable20

Why would he when he gets prem football?!
Think before you type.

Agree0 Disagree0

What just as he has established himself in the PL. Said himself only this week that he is looking forward to next season for the first time in a long while.

news flash looks like goerge boyd come early to leeds united he singed 4year deal just now {Ed037's Note - Source?}

Believable14 Unbelievable22

News flash stop talking s**t and just wait n see because deep down no one has a clue who's coming all we know is that the team that turns out in August will be a damn sight better than the one last year!mot!

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed with the comment above, there are lots of potential rumours floating around including george boyd but i very much doubt he will have signed now stop getting carried away!

Agree0 Disagree0

He wont be playing for us then if he singed his deal. a burnt contract isnt of much use, is it?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's singed it... Yeah ! He saw what we was offering wages wise and burnt it good !

Been told that its not beckford and mills were after, dont no if its true but its david nugent and andy king

Believable15 Unbelievable20

Nugent is very highly rated at leicester, more likely we get beckford. but hte andy king rumour is not a bad shout, would cost a decent amount but plays the 'howson role' perfectly

Agree0 Disagree0

"Don't know if it's true" could apply to every post.

Agree0 Disagree0

Leicester have money to burn so King and Nugent will only be allowed to leave if not wanted. Also where are we getting the funds from to buy these players.

Agree0 Disagree0

If it's true that would be quality. Both solid championship players, especially Nugent. I've been impressed by him every time I've watched him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah sure!

Or did you just not realize that ED can see who posts what? lol

Agree0 Disagree0

You can forget Mackie if Warnock goes through with his threat fo sign Diouf. I don't think any QPR lads would come here for the same reason

Agree0 Disagree0

Shows what little you know lonergan and white both not good enough, any fullback that nw plays on the opposite wing cant be much cop at defending, if mackey goes it will be everton not leeds which is a shame as he is very good and pure class at this level. and rodgers he played what five mins and he is in your dream team for next season....please dont talk to nw hate for you to convince him its a decent side

Not a rumour, just a worried Leeds fan!! I cant help but get excited about the squad overhaul! The prospect of becoming a club full of talented young players again! Players like clyne and white playing kickbacks in front of a trio of mills Pearce and Lee's, aeaqmidfield consisting of anyone from Snodgrass, Boyd, Bentley, diouf (not my choice) Clayton, whittingham, Ambrose! An a strikeforce of becchio, beckford,mccormack and scannell!! Cant help thinking we are setting ourselves up for a fall! Has everyone forgotten previous summers where we get linked with everyone but end up with watt, paynter etc??? {Ed037's Note - Grayson was too scared to make the transfers, Warnock has basically said he'll walk unless he gets who he wants so it's likely to be a different summer. For example, Pearce: one of our biggest signing since our relegation from the PL}

Believable18 Unbelievable5

I agree with the ed. You have to also remember that Warnock is set to get rid of a total of 13 players from the squad of last year. So we have to sign players.

TeejLUFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh I remember when we were getting Thomas skuravy (spelling?) and Ruud Van something ,but he had a dodgy knee so we didn`t bother! Got lucky there.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know what you mean. I feel the same, but I think Ed is right (I hope he is). I think we will be up there next season, but I doubt promotion will come for a few years.
I personally would rather be a top Championship club for a few seasons and then become a strong PL club, than go stright up and fluff it!

Agree0 Disagree0

Whittingham valued at 3 million, clyne 5 million, mills cost leicester 4.5 million and is on 25 k a week, scannell valued at 2 million, bentley on 50k a week, not happening. We will make a lot of very good signings, but they'll all be astute, not these ridiculous signings that you all make on football manager, this is the real world with a tight chairman and a clever manager who knows what we need on a tight budget, not blowing money all over the place. Don't see how everyone blames grayson after everything he did for the club though, the endless propaganda machine has clearly got to you all.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol, or maybe we could unearth a new Tomas Brolin!! I know we will sign players, I am just praying for good ones!! I think us Leeds fans deserve some luck!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bates said today that we need to sell to buy

Whittingham, Clyne, Beckford, Bentley,Ambrose and Boyd, i think you need a reality check, we are so far away from these sorts of players

Brian Howard, Andy Griffin, Sammy Clingan, Paul Green and Jamal Campbell-Ryce is about our level {Ed037's Note - They're mostly League 1 standard players mate}

Agree0 Disagree0

All the players I mentioned were rumours that I have read, I never said we were signing them! All I care about is the club being one of the few well run clubs in the whole of England! Being out of the red, unlike 90% of others!

Agree0 Disagree0

Brian Howard, Andy Griffin, Sammy Clingan, Paul Green and Jamal Campbell-Ryce is about our level {Ed037's Note - They're mostly League 1 standard players mate}

its sad, but true!

Agree0 Disagree0

Whatever happens i hope we sign players that want to play for the famous white shirt thats where the team spirit comes from good players and a good team ethic along with the support of our fantastic loyal fans and who knows what could happen next season.we have the potential to be a top side just need to keep new signings @ same level as pearce or above p.s. a couple of old heads would be agood idea provide much needed composure {Ed037's Note - You mean the likes of Smith etc? I hope not!}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think any club would be daft to sign smith he is past it too many injuries stripped away any real threat he had. my point is we capitulated too many times last season those old heads would provide much needed composure at those times {Ed037's Note - Yeah, i see where you're coming from}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think I would definitely like to see a tough tackling midfielder come to us! Someone to play the easy balls an sit in front of the defence? Any ideas? I know we have brown but he is lunger, I mean someone who has mastered the old school tackle!! An maybe a midfielder who can chip in with a decent amount of goals! (who was our highest scoring midfielder?) that seems to be something we have lacked recently!! Anyone have suggestions? (realistic ones!)

Agree0 Disagree0

Alot of common sense in replies above. Warnock will have a well organised team industrious team which will finish just above mid table unless substantial funds are forthcoming (which they are not). Think next season will be tougher than this only one of relegated teams will be promoted this season. So lots of well funded teams in league and if Sheff Utd get promoted best 3 supported clubs in League 1 are joining league. Hence will be more competative from top to bottom.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm preparing for more disappointment as well as the departures of White and probably at least one more of the players offered contracts. Seen it all before.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with ed - Warnock has a very different transfer policy to Grayson. Grayson didn't have the balls to make demands, he just waited and waited and lost out on all the good deals. Warnock will put forward an offer and say take it or leave it.

Besides - what's an aeaqmidfield?

Hear that Leeds have enquired Cardiff about the availability of whittingham, would be a great signing, could probably cut it in the premier league. David norris and luke varney also on warnocks radar apparently.

Peter Whittingham v Barnsley ~ Mitre Goal of the Year 2012
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMQCbR96L-8 {Ed003's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

He'd be one of the most expensive players in the division, but is definitely quality. If we could afford it, he'd be a great signing, but methinks its unlikely.

Agree0 Disagree0

You can have whittingham ive watched him all season and he goes missing to much in games that matter 3 million would be a good deal

An overhaul at Sunderland could see the return of Killgallon and Michael Turner to bolster the Leeds defence for next year

Believable16 Unbelievable18

Yes plz turner was immense at hull when they was in PL not too fussed about killa since weve signed "a great old fashioned CB" in pearce unless were playin 3 center backs and trying to devol lee's aswell ??

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi, I could do with a quick history lesson. I know that Kilgallon was at Leeds, when was Turner at Leeds (apart from playing for another team)? {Ed037's Note - He wasn't, as far as i know!}

Agree0 Disagree0

It would be great to get turner, and we could do with a decent left back like bring back danny rose , because aiden white is probably leaving!

Agree0 Disagree0

Urm it says return of killa ..... Not return of turner

Warnock keen to bring Kieron Dyer to ER when his contract ends at QPR in the summer. NW is an admirer taking him to QPR last summer but only playing one game before his injury. If this is true Leeds should invest in a hospital in the ground instead of a casino.....

Believable17 Unbelievable28

To flaming old!
leeds need an hard as nails centre midfielder who has got passion and belief for his side and that scares the hell out of the opposition!
and also it would be great to get rid of that ponse becchio and get someone like mackail-smith (who scores) or a good quick winger!

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you abuse Becchio he has been 1 of if not the onlyconsistent scorer for us over last few seasons.Even when not playing well its clear the effort is there which cant be said of everyone in the squad!Foz

Leeds rumoured to be interested in the services of Wayne Bridge after failing to impress on his loan to sunderland. Wages may be a high hurdle.

Believable9 Unbelievable39

09 May 2012 15:30:13
NW to move quickly to secure the loan signings of Everton duo Vellios and Ross Barkley. Apostolos Vellios has been dropped to the reserve team where his goal scoring abilities have shone through. Barkley is struggling for first team action and Moyes wants to loan out the midfielder to continue his development, a young lad with a bag full of potential. {Ed037's Note - Didn't Warnock say something about not wanting loans? Although i did like the look of Vellios earlier on in the season, a bit like Becchio but with more pace}

Believable9 Unbelievable17

Yea he said that bout loans the next thing he does is bring robinson in on loan {Ed037's Note - True, i suppose there's never anything predictable about Leeds!}

Agree0 Disagree0

He was bringing people in like Robinson with a view to signing them for next season. I'm glad he did, as Robinson was not the answer and so we're not saddled with him now.

Agree0 Disagree0

You obviously don't read much about NW cos he has stated quite often he does NOT Like loan signings,only as a last resort due to injury's...He is looking to bring in Long term signings for the future of Leeds Utd...

Leeds target want away Spurs midfielder David Bentley for the right wing so Snodgrass can move inside for a more free roaming role. Wages and fitness the biggest issues that arise though.

Believable24 Unbelievable14

He cost 4.8mil but he did cost at 1 point 15mil =P in 2008

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah but you are only worth what people will pay, an let's not forget he was on loan at west ham last season?? He has never recreated the form that made people say he was Beckhams successor for England??

6 clubs are chasing the signature of out of contract Barnsley skipper, Jacob Butterfield. Wolves, Blackburn, Cardiff, Leicester, Aston Villa and Leeds are reported to be looking into the possibility of signing him.

Believable14 Unbelievable21

Scottish champions, Celtic and Blackburn Rovers are taking a closer look at Leicester striker, Jermaine Beckford. Ideally, Beckford want to move back to Elland Road but Leeds CEO, Shaun Harvey stresses that his wage demands will be a huge stumbling block.

Warnock's thoughts on his final season at Leeds:

"Some of the players I sign won't only be good value, they'll be an investment as well. They're not all going to be 37 years old. giving me one year here. They're going to be hungry lads who I hope I can make into better players."

Probably a long shot but would love to see Robinson in between the sticks at Elland Road again. Would play for the shirt, great leader and knows the club. Would also take David Dunn for a cheeky price for back up.

Believable26 Unbelievable11

Why would either leave Blackburn for us? both handsomely paid.

Agree0 Disagree0

The post doesnt say its been rumored or heard....just would like to see the pair at ER

Agree0 Disagree0

I think blackburn got problems so they need to get rid of a few players

Agree0 Disagree0

When a team gets relegated you dot get the same wage as a perm player and you dont have the same value

Agree0 Disagree0

Both players are getting on, kean prefers younger players, may want to ship them out. Leeds need a balance between old and young, Dunn would be a great utility player and Robinson would be a fantastic leader. They will most likely have to take pay cuts due to relegation anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

He would be good, and I can definitely see him leaving Blackburn, since the Venkys and Kean are running them into the ground, but other Prem clubs are interested, so we're out of the picture.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have a friend who is a Derby fan and he says that Paul Green sucks! He describes him as an average Joe and that they would be more then happy for him to leave. I trust my mate enough to now not want Paul Green anywhere near our club. Put it this way he laughed when Leeds picked up Paul Connelly and said he was poor, and he was 100% spot on. paul Green....stay away from Leeds please!

Believable16 Unbelievable7

To be honest i aint seen too much of green but what i have seen does look very average

Agree0 Disagree0

I've watched Green a few times for Ireland and IMO he stood out in the centre, he seemed a good player.. If he joins, let's not be prejudice.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree im from ireland and seen him play a few times and just looked well meh basically and I said the same last year about O'Dea when ppl were saying he was some sort of a great signing. Hendrick is a far better player who seems to be improving all the time but we wont sign him because he aint gonna be free or cheap.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rubbish, that sounds like sour grapes to me as he wouldn't sign the reduced deal that sheep offered him. I live in notts n many of my closest mate are derby fans who all say he along with shackell are number 1/2 on the teamsheet every week.

Don't forget this guy is a CM n hes been played at RB/RM this year cuz hendrick and Bryson have kept him out the midfield at derby! If Clayton leaves us I guarantee this guy would fit in our CM spot. In fact regardless of whether clayts goes or not he will fit in.

Green will be a quality free transfer if he comes

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember the last freebie we got from county, he was a load of s**te too! Connolly!
