close sources have hinted tomorrow there will be an 'interesting' announcement he knows someone in the bbc who have quoted this - was on bbc website but got removed - i trust this guy and consequently beleive what he says, takeover is now imminent.

Were all in the same boat of not knowing the real truth and can only speculate. Lets hope this announcement sheds some light.

Interesting by BBC could mean bad cos they hate us

Can't see it.. Mr Bates is like Yorkshire bank, In that he works Monday to Friday 9.00 till 4.30 - You never get a post on a Sunday on the OS - so if there is any announcements I'd imagine we'd have to wait till Monday at the earliest

Heard yesterday that it was on the talk sport site that Warnock had quit i looked but couldnt see anything could this be linked? i hope to hell he hasnt cos as it is at the moment i think he is the only man who can take the team forwards.

Just come back off a holiday from portugal, at faro airport and jason pearce was with luke varney. I went over to Jason and wished him good luck and got a handshake. I asked if we were getting Luke Varney when he went and Jason said Leeds have shown interest but doesn't know.

He just tweeted from pub down in porstmouth to halford about meetingup tonight

Hi every1 i believe bates and co were waiting for warnock to come back from his hols so he can be present at the press confrence which i have on good authority will be this week

Hope you are right all this not knowing where we stand is getting a bit painful.

Neil Warnock could resign if he is not given the required funds as he is furious that none of his targets were signed while he was on holiday. There are problems with the players as they don't really know who will be staying or leaving. Norwich & Everyone in for Snoddy and West Ham want McCormack. This may not be 100% true but still, things don't look good.

NW isnt going to come to Leeds without guarantees of investment, looks like Bates up to his old lying tricks again! Wouldnt blame NW if he left!

Why would he be furious? He was on holiday and he signs players with Bates and Harvey. If he is on holiday, then obviously no-one is going to be signed.

Warnock went on holiday and left bates and harvey to bring in the targets he wanted . harvey sorts out the contract and bates signs it off . bates is a tw*t . warnock as no say what so ever in the contract deal

To the last poster no player signs for a club without chatting to the manager to see what the manager has in store for them at the club yes harvey and co sort the contract out but warnock actually chats to the player first

The amount of players released or
Put on the transfer list there should
Be plenty of wage funds released to
Really competative in the free transfer
Market. So why do all the bosman
Type targets seem to be slipping through
Our fingers. It must mean we have
A transfer embargo on at the minute
So after the takeover I think the funds
Will be there and things should shape
Up its just a waiting game.

The wage funds will be paying bates legal fees

Because they need to get rid of all the dead wood/transfer listed players first in order to release the wages to use on other targets. But knowing the low wage structure that Leeds seems to have in place then that won't generate too much anyway!

And the Takeover could all be a dream knowing KB....Dont presume.

I wish everyone would stop jumping the gun and just wait. Chill out. Whatever we say won't change the reality of the situation, which we don't even know anyway. The best thing to do is support the team. That's what being a fan is all about.

We will know whats happening by monday afternoon . if there is investment /takeover happening then warnock will still be with us otherwise he will resign .

Every agent is at the European Cup, haven't you noticed there's been hardly any signings since the close of the season.

robbie rogers will play a very important part in the team next season. I reckon he will be a regular.

Robbie is a talented guy shame he picked up 3 injuries last season hopefully he reports back injury free and a full pre season he can be a vital part in the cog M.O.T milky

Cos there will be no one else left probably....TS

He will have a choice where he plays because we will have no one left of intrest.

Robbie Rogers might be the only player we have next season so at this juncture I would agree that he will be a regular :( ....But look at the big 'if'.... NW has yet to get any of his chosen selection onboard and if he does ? is there gonna be any room for Rogers with a permanent slot ?

Rogers can play all over in midfield and upfront so hes a good player to have

Really?! Don't want to be down on the guy, especially as he hasn't had much of a look-in, but I personally find it unlikely. Check out the vids -reckon will (like Nunez and Grella before him) sadly prove too lightweight and specialised for this league. Hope I'm wrong, but thought it was a typically odd signing by Grayson at the time -didn't seem to be at all what we needed at the time, and not sure he is now. As I said, hope I'm wrong, and wish the guy luck (but I've seen enough players come and go at ER over the years to be able to spot those who'll flourish here I reckon). Chapel A

In response to JB - i think that line up has a nice balance. Lees can play anywhere across back four and Rogers midfield and up front. Fingers crossed they both avoid injuries.

I watched a few vids of rogers online and tbh the lad can play abit. ive read the rumors concerning freddie adu a imo if we could get him, he and rogers would be great together as adu like rogers can play on either wing or upfront. (wot do u think ed?)
