David stockdale tells sky sports news that he wants to join swansea on loan

He also said playing in the premier league may not be an option and may have to drop down a division to play gameswait and see Grayson is a busy man

If you watch the interview thats not exactly what he said he said its not all about the prem and if he has to go down a league so be it. He basically just wants to play footie and doesn't mind droppin to the champo. Thats what he was tryin to say. Sky love putting words in peoples mouths.

If he goes to another premiership club, then can't be recalled by fulham so they have refused loan to any other premiership club,

Were you watching the same interview, he says he wants the chance to play, simple as that, ideally in the prem (who wouldn't) but happy to go down a league if that comes along.

Believe me or not but Grayson is pushing the boat out and making it his mission to sign owen Hargreaves, he believes he is perfect for the team and would be crucial in getting Leeds to the prem, apparently bates is willing to pay the wages to lure him as he is desperate to get the club to the top flight, obviously he wants to make the pounds in the premiership, I know because Peter lorimer is a very good friend of the family, not saying where going to sign him but I know Grayson and the club representatives are doing all they can. {Ed017's Note -

It looks likely to be lain turner but theres still Forster, Dudek, Grant, Kuszczak, the lonergan deal isnt over yet and i dont know whats going on with alex smithies. {Ed015's Note - stockdale will not be going to swansea}

Firstly in response to the questions on here the away kit will be out a month into the season when sales of the home kit die down, as we did with the first macron/netflights kits, Paddy was offered a one year deal yesterday with a guaranteed year extension if he plays 70% of games before christmas. Stockdale is number 1 goalkeeper target, Nunez is seen as Kilkennys replacement(highly regarded by the staff here at thorpe arch) and Gwyn Williams is and has been monitoring Hull academy product and current London city midfielder Thomas Beattie as Johnsons replacement. Beattie was last years rookie of the year in the Canadian Soccer League and resigned with London City this year but is free to leave for a nominal fee if a team from europe comes in. Has a sweet left foot and is tough tackling, The club see's him as a real rough diamond and Gwyn feels he could be a bigger find then Beckford, Becchio, Somma and Nunez

Almunia left out of arsenals tour of Asia as he seeks a move elsewhere. Leeds maybe? I bet someone sees him at thorp arch or maccy d's with SG within the next few days haha

My mate is a big Arsenal fan and says that almunia has agreed to nstay at arsenal as 3rd choice keeper with him having a more coaching role to the youngsters

important news for all leeds fans, i am a scout for Leeds United and along with mervyn day we can both assure Leeds United fans of a few issues involving transfer speculation. Firstly, Leeds United are unwilling to do business with anyone involving the sale of any more of our current playing staff. Secondly, Leeds United will be strengthening with youth this season and lastly, we can also confirm that the club will be bringing in a first team goalkeeper, a defender and possibly 2 midfielders before the start of the season. thank you

Giles Barnes is currently on trial at Nottingham Forest, but so far he's failed to agree terms with them, he's now been offered a trial by Leeds United which he's accepted, he should be checking in at elland road early next week.

Dont know much about him though ive heard a few good things, but if we do sign him i hope to god he's better than the last Barnes we signed.

Leeds will look to Iain Turner to fill their goal-keeping vacancy if Andy Lonergan rejects a move to Elland Road.

Despite having talks with Leeds, Lonergan is hoping to go to Everton as back-up to Tim Howard.

Ironically, Turner, 27, has just left Everton and is now a free agent.

Turner was on loan at now defunct Chester City when they won the conference, a few years ago, he looked a very good keeper by all accounts.
He's since been on loan at a number of clubs including championship sides and has looked the part - would be a good signing imho
