Paul Lambert strong in the betting today...he's not being backed for no reason surely. Perhaps he thinks he's taken Norwich as far a he can and it's time for a new challenge?

Oh dream on children you are a small club in a small town in a dump part of the country, the only good thing about Leeds is the road out, Paul Lambert is on a £3mil a year and has 5 years to see his 7 year plan out, then if he see's that he can't take us any further he will go to a much bigger club than the both of us. some say that will be either Arsenal or Man Utd

What the hell you on about Lambert not backed, It's obvious you are not of mature age to understand what he said months ago when he signed his new contract, Paul Lambert will not be going to a dead beat club run by a fat cat controler like Master bates, Do you think he will top his £3mil a year Lambert's on now

If you think he hasn't been backed then go to odds checker and look at the movement between yesterday morning and now. Average price of 21/1 yesterday, average price of 8/1 now. I'm not saying he's going to get it, I'm just saying there isn't normally that kind of movemnt on a manager who's in work without there being something behind it. I think he has to be considered a contender.

Interesting that a season in the Premiership makes your little provincial club bigger than Leeds ! Dream on you didn't get bigger crowds than us when in the same league.

And i think its a bit rich calling Leeds a dump coming from somebody from Norwich dont you think?

I'm a Leeds fan and can say that there is 0% change that Paul Lambert would leave what he has now for us. Get real guys. Norwich fans - don't even feel the need to comment, it's pure fantasy. My only problem with Lambert is I can't understand a word he says.

Ive heard Warnock as the job, and he will appoint redfearn as his assistant

WARNOCK has the job. Has a few weeks to sort out a few more additional loan players and some haggling behing the scenes. Redfern just a puppet to buy time and allow a transition to take place.

Sounds like you are making this up. Bates confirmed Redfearn will be in charge for next 3 games at least

Redfearn no puppet. Could be next Leeds boss.

Bates has sacked sg, given redfern AT LEAST in his words the next 3 games, this one of the easier run of games,so given redfern the biggest opportunity to do well, this is bates lying to us again, redfern will be in charge for the rest of the season unless we have a poor run in these games.
Agree0

Why is that lying? If anything Bates is being completely honest about the Redfearn situation. If he keeps winning he has as good a chance as anybody.

Good luck to redfern, but i have a feeling no one will be appointed till delph as returned to villa.
This way bates will save a fair bit on wages and the new man will be told he as to work with the squad he as, Hope im wrong but bates as to pay grayson and his staff off something to me don't feel right.

He is being economical with the truth as usual! we all know that Redfern will be in charge until end of season. Its the cheap option, he wont bother Bates by asking to bring any emergency loans in because he knows what Bates answer will be. Lets just go for it for rest of season, get behind the lads and forget about Bates. We support Leeds United not Bates. We are only 7 pts off 2nd place and still have to play West Ham and Southampton at home yet as well so all to play for

Why do we need anybody in on an emergency loan anyway? Squad is big enough as it is.

Again, how has he lied about anything. He knows that the next 3 games only total 2 weeks, giving him plenty of time to find the right person to appoint, whether that person would need to wait for compensation or not is besides the point. Bates has NOT lied about anything! Give your head a shake!

I think Bates has been as up front as possible in the circumstances. It's insulting to Redfearn to claim that he is only there because he is cheap. If he is good enough - fine; being cheap would be a bonus. If he isn't fine I presume KB will bring in someone else but there is no guarantee they will do any better. Years ago I had reservations when O'leary was made up to manager but he did well -before the roof fell in. There is no reason why Redfearn cant do a good job also. KB has just kept his options open. Cheap doesn't necessarily mean bad and expensive doesn't always lead to success. Let's see what happens over the next few games.

To be fair to bates, i think he has been quite honest with the fact redfearn will be in control for at least 3 games, probably to see what he can do - and if he can get leeds to pick up points like he did last weekend id be the first to back him as manager. Rather have someone inexperienced like redfearn who has the team winning than a big name who struggles. If it isnt broke - dont fix it.

If Redfearn wins the next three games, I don't have any problem with him being in charge.
