Not every player is greedy and going for the highest bidder with wages. Some players do actually look at things like distance from where they are to the club interested, facilities, players who are at the club intrested, promotion chances, fan loyalty and most of all Manager of the club.
Leeds have one of (if not) the best manager in the division, facilites are Premiership quality, we have a good bunch of lads, and fans are 2nd to none.
We have as good a chance as any (if we are interested that is)
Don't rule us out of signing anyone. Look at Murphy. Premiership teams were interested in him and he chose Leeds

The Matt Mills deal to Leeds has hit a stumbling block and BMD has turned his attention to Gabriel Zakuani. Very decent defender!
Also any rumours going around about Rowe coming to us will simmer down as Peterborough have announced they don't want to sell again after the sale of Dwight Gayle.
Finally, Strong rumours about Adam le Fondre coming to us, If it does happen, I think a lot of it would be down to Reading finding a replacement striker, rumoured to be Billy Sharp, Time will tell.

Tommy Rowe will be Leeds United's next signing. Peterborough risk losing him for free in January so they may have to cash in on him.

Two seasons left, no serious need to give him a pay rise beyond what's already in his contract.
Let him play this season for a contract extension and if the boy's worth it, sign him up for another three years.

No more strikers to be signed for now. BcMD knows he does need to sign another striker before the start of the season but other areas of the team are a higher priority now as we need at least two defenders (fullback and centreback) and some backup in midfield.

Dougie Freedman had been all set at the end of last week to bring the Leicester City striker in for a seven-figure fee, only for the deal to stall at the last minute.
The delay was explained at the time as "contractual issues" by sources close to the player - and understood to be a disagreement on the actual amount of money owed by Leicester to the player for the rest of his contract.

I worked for the company building the content management system on which the Leeds site (and most other official sites) runs. It was a few years ago but; the official site from a technology perspective is maintained in Feltham, Middlesex, the servers live in London but the site content (for the most part) is handled by the clubs own comms staff. Those guys tend to work a spectacularly short day/week (same at most professional clubs). Unlikely that you'd see many announcements outside of the hours 2-4PM.
