I don't blame Charlie for not playing today. He has is sights on bigger and better things with the likes of Liverpool so why risk getting injured for a game with nothing to play for? All this hate for Taylor is just sour grapes from fans who wanted him to stay which maybe he would have done if Cellino didn't offer him a joke of a contract. Thanks for your service Chalie good luck for the future pal

Supposedly Cellino put together a package that would have given him near parity with Wood last summer, hardly a joke contract he was our highest paid player at the time, Taylors agent refused to look at it or sit down for a meeting. Also a big difference between asking a manager not to play you because you don't want to risk injury and flat out refusing to play, personally disagree with it either way but at least one shows the manager, team and fans a modicum of respect. At the end of the day do you blame the player or the agent, probably more the agent, pretty sure its the same guy that got Cook and Byram to leave, but they will have got told the same thing and they still played to the end, same for Howson, Beckford, Gradel, Schmeichel, etc. that all wanted to go. No excuse.

Disgusting behavior imo. He wouldn't be where he is today if not for Leeds United. I expect he still gets paid this week. I always thought that he was scamming us with his Mid season injury as well. let's hope he keeps the bench nice and warm for whoever he is playing for next season. Love Leeds and those who play for them. MoT

Completely disagree with you Hardy about Taylor. If he'd played the game and then moved on then I for one would have wished him well but he didn't, he refused to play which is out of order. Yes, some fans will slag him off saying rubbish like "he's not that good anyway" - we know he is good and the best LB we've had in a while but yesterday he went down in my estimations - you can't refuse to play just because you're looking to move on to better things.

I've completely lost all respect for Taylor over this one stupid decision. No player is bigger than the club and as a professional, he should do as he is asked to do and turn up for work to do his job. I bet he never refused his pay packet! I sincerely hope the club hit him hard with the maximum fine, not that that will matter when he signs for a Premier league club. Just another example of player power and the lack of loyalty in football these days. Ffs, he's been at Leeds since he was nine years old. Without the club's nurturing of his talent, he wouldn't be in the position he is in today (ready to make a mega bucks move) . It's criminal in my opinion. MM

Personally I am happy with the season overall despite the obvious disappointment of missing out on a lay off spot. I really hope Gary Monk stays and has the full support of the Board to bring in the players he wants. I think we have surpassed ourselves with a small and average squad compared to some of those who finished above us. My two wishes for next season are to be more attack minded especially at ER and please keep the loan deals to a minimum and give new signings decent contracts. Hurry up next season! MOT,

Couldn't agree more. I think we've had more than our fair share of happiness for one year, at one point i was smiling and it was Leeds United that put the smile there. I asked for top 10 at the start, was gutted at the end but ultimately very happy with the season. Bartley to resign hopefully and if we could get Pedraza on another seasons loan i'd try him again because with a pre-season behind him, I think could be decent. Rest of them, thanks but no thanks.

Just passing the time. Wondering if Charlie Taylor's agent was telling him "porky pies"? I mean agents are mere conduits. No real power. It's not like they can order a player not to play or anything.

Well I have followed Leeds since I was 7 years old (56 now) I have seen Billy and the boys the fantastic team Wilko made and some great players over the years. So who does Charlie Taylor think he is? He is a decent prospect and No one would blame him for making the most he can from his profession.

Just back fromn the game today, distictly average but listened with interest to GMs interview on radio Leeds. Charlie Taylor refused to play in the last game due to agent advise. god give me strength, here is a young man who LUFC have nurtured for what 8 maybe 9 years and a good living to for some one his age for the last 3 and an agent has the gall to say don't play well tell you what CT the club should not pay you until your contract expires, and the fans should know you for what you are; an agents puppet.

leave don't look back and never darken our door again because despite the loyalty we have shown you, you chose to walk away from theis great clun and fans for what. to sit on a bench at somewhere like Bournemouth and when you are found out remember what GM said today on the radio, bad advice make bad career moves happen.

yes your bank account may get a boost but at what cost to your career, benchwarmer seems to fit the bill, sad to say good riddance to greedy rubbish. RADZ get GM signed and continue MC good start business wise MOT

Sour grapes Wilsosd the lad has given 14 years service and was offered a poor contract from Cellino. People don't realise that as a 9 year old at Leeds Academy you don't get travel expenses your parents pay for everything i know from being there as a kid my parents paid a fortune and what happens to all the young lads that are not good enough? they get thrown away like garbage while the club make money off the Talented ones so i have only good things to say about Charlie he is a great lad and deserves a club that will reward his good performances.
