I work in a bookies and alot of talk and some money on next Leeds gaffer to be Mark "sparky" Hughes should Larry either walk or be pushed. Don't know what to think of it

Leeds are looking to sign jermaine beckfords brother. The lad won wayne rooneys soccer thing on sky 1 a couple of years ago

Any emergency loans being done are either 28 days or 93 days maximum. Surely it would be wise to sign players on loan at the end of this month to take the loan period up to 31/12 so that any good performers can be signed right away the next day! Anyone brought in on loan now will go back to their clubs in mid December crucially counting them out of the Xmas fixtures and if they have impressed will surely receive better offers from elsewhere (knowing our inabilities in the transfer market!) {Ed045's Note - Very very good point.. probably the best comment I have seen on here.

Alot of good players went down with us, Pugh was OK in midfield, and went up with a very good Stoke side.

Pugh was a young lad when we had him he is now more stronger and has more expireance from championship and prem to me he is worth a try {Ed045's Note - Agreed, I was stating what I thought he was back then, I have seen him a few times with Stoke and he looks a better, more confident player from when we had him as a youngster.

SG is denying reports that a deal for

day. Unfortunately given previous
history neither party can, in my opinion be trusted to be up front and honest. The problem for fans(one of them at least) is that you cannot comment on the 'pros and cons' of such a missed
signing and if the club were targetting the right kind of player because the truth is out there but we dont know where it is.

You are right. Grayson said Lonergan was always first choice target and werent going for any of the other keepers we had been linked with. Later Stockdale says he was close to joining leeds but they couldnt agree on a 24hr recall.

Simon grayson reportedly trying to sign rangers winger john fleck. Fleck has been made available for loan by parent club rangers late last month. He beleives with two schottish internationals already in the squad, he may settle in quickly
