"The PH fan club" is a phrase I keep seeing pop up for some reason! ? I honestly don't believe that one exists. What I think does exist, is a group who, after 14 managers in ten years, are sick to death of the instability that chopping and changing managers brings. Yes, we had a few really duff ones appointed, but the knee jerk sackings does not allow a style of play to develop.
PH comes across well. Am I a Fan?, of course not, as he hasn't proved anything yet, but he hasn't even had enough time on the training pitch with an average squad for his philosophy to gel.

It's something I made up as a joke, but seriously I struggle to see how anyone can think he's a good manager or has done well here. I'm more angry at AR for an unnecessary change and messing up our season. We had 48 points to play for when Heck was appointed, so definitely a massive missed opportunity for us to go up this season. This league is so bad this season and if we'd brought in Silva for 16 games, no doubt we'd have got top 6.

Think we should start a Silva fan club . he seems to be the messiah! got Hull relegated and left Watford up the creek without a paddle .

Ok SG, understand that bud. But the views of other coaches / managers is that he has ability. He just hasn't had enough time to imprint his game plan, his ideas on this "bunch". I personally like listening to his interviews. He understands the game very well. He is restricted by what he has to use. He hasn't proved, or achieved anything here yet, you're right, but needs a chance to instill his ideas, that's all I'm saying.

Brian McDermott came across well bright but did him no good. And has for other coaches and managers saying he had ability well come on pal there not going to say anything else unless they've had a fued in the past are they. I like listening to him too when all he does is talk about the other teams quality. No point getting rid now but if he don't get a grip soon then the writings on the wall as the vultures are circling all ready

Agree with you Brighty 14 in 10 is a record not to be proud of. Give the man a proper chance. Even if he loses today I will still say that if he experiments. Let him have at least a full season with his team playing his way. Even tho it may be an Orta team bought under a restricted budget. I think Radz had x pounds budget but listened in the winter too much to Orta and spent a chunk of it but would have been better suited to using it all in the summer.

Leodis giving him a whole season will result in relegation to League 1.

Do we really want To give him another season just to see if he can put his stamp on this team, he’s had enough time to do something but hasn’t, are you now saying it’s ok if we go down next season we should give him the chance, a big big risk, my view out now and bring someone who knows.

Martyn. Very good point regarding McD. was so full of hope when he was appointed, but another false dawn! And whiteman, no, relegation isn't an option, nor do I believe it to be a possibility. Even with our squad, which you were right to point out the weaknesses in, there will be teams worse than us. I'm just sick of chopping and changing managers. It doesn't allow the team to settle into a coach's system, and means starting from scratch again and again. Stability is essential for a while, even if you hate the gaffer.
