bates only has 5 days left in england (due to tax exile law)hes in leeds now since yesterday..the deal should be done by the very latest tuesday..dont listen to phil "knows nothing hay" or any other tosh.. its within both parties interests to complete the deal asap and it will be finalised before tuesday mark my words

If he flies in and out on the same day, the "day" does not count so this rumour does not make sense.

Im not disagreeing with you,and I hope your right,but it doesnt matter whether Bates as used his days up in the country,he can be anywhere to put his signature to a contract.

Bates does usually show up for the home games. Did he not say that to finalise the deal it needed "chairman to chairman" to sort the finer points out. GRH have also been making as few extra noises and as time is slipping by, maybe just maybe everything is ready.

Ashram alreys was on a arabic news network and said deal should be done for the end of year dont matter if bates only has 5 days left uin uk they can discuss business in monaco as much as in england and one of the posters said if they fly in and out on same day it dont count thats bull as soon as paport is stamped thats classed as a day amd they have 24 housr to fly out if they fly out after 24 hours even if its minutes its classed as 2 days i know this as a fact as i had a 3 month visa foramerica and was given a stern warning for over staying my visa by 1 day was actually 7 hours

If you take into consideration the regularity of the meetings and contact between the parties then it should be concluded soon. KB has certainly been around ER a lot lately and that is a good sign. The details and complexities of the whole thing has made it drag on for far too long although both sides are keen to sort out the final deal very soon.

I am sure that if he flies in and out same day, it does not count as a day.

@5 ... as far as I know, Ken Bates is a European citizen, and as such his passport won't be stamped either when he enters, or leaves the UK, or any other European country for that matter. The USA is a totally different ball game.

You don't get stamped in your own country / European Union if my memory serves me right?!

What's exactly is Bates urgency? You do realise that the internet/telephone/e-mail/video conferencing..ect have all been invented?! He well trot off to his tax dodging little hovel without a care, he's in no rush. You should have gathered that by now, some 120 or so days since the news broke that leeds were in takeover discussions. Also he has employed someone to manage the deal in his absense so days in uk irrelevant , no doubt at lufc expense, still hate him even on his way out.
