He can sign on an emergency loan deal and then extend it once it has expired. Man City also pay most (if not all) of loanees wages

Simon's a Leeds White through and through. Love him or hate him he's still got some business to see through at Leeds (this season or next) so looks like he won't be tempted elsewhere at this time and he's likely to be with us for some time yet (unless the morons that call themselves Leeds supporters eventually drive him out!)
