no more signings today but no need to complain we finnally have options on the left wing with townsend and rogers 2 of the best signings of any championship team this window pugh as a role model to the younger players and young adam smith at the back a player with a huge futue aparently not going to lie i feel abit down hearted that we havent signed a centre midfielder apart from SUPER FABIAN 5 signings of good quality and still moaning loyal fas my arse

Signings are Rogers and Pugh, one a gamble and one steady but hardly the quality Leeds need. How many would pick Pugh in a best starting 11?

Not being negative, just realistic. I for one hope Rogers turns out to be a star but past experience tells me that Americans, whilst keen, rarely have what it takes (Goalkeepers excluded).

It is saying on SSN that we are braced for Snodgrass bids.

If he does not play tonight then that tells me he is in talks elsewhere as he would not be able to play and then get anywhere to sign before the deadline.

Here's hoping he takes to the field tonight.

I'm really worried we are gonna loose him to be honest. But its one of those situations, can you really reject a bidof 5-7 mill.

Sky Sports understands at least two clubs are ready to make bids for Leeds United star Robert Snodgrass.

The Scotland international has emerged as Leeds' prized asset after club captain Johnny Howson moved to Norwich earlier this month.

But now it appears Leeds will have to fend off late interest in the window to keep the 24-year-old.

Norwich failed with a bid in the summer, whilst the likes of Aston Villa, Fulham, Sunderland, Everton and Blackburn have all been linked in the past few weeks.

Another possible issue to any deal is that Snodgrass is due to play for Leeds against Birmingham on Tuesday night, making any move logistically difficult.

Id rather have Paynter than Heskey and I dont really want him lol

Haven't Villa announced Heskey's being released in summer. Even if we wanted him why would we take him as part payment when he would be free in summer?

Being realistic i would take that... snodgrass is a gud player wen he can be bothered, decent goal return but i dont think 4-5mil is a decent sum for him. plus heskey wud be scare the hell out of defences in this league with his power and mccormack wud thrive playing of him

Relax we have finally found the solution to our desperate need for a quality CB. Wait for it it's ............................................Andy O'Brien It seems he was a bit depressed when he refused to play against Burnley . So now that has been cleared up we don't need to sign a quality CB anymore. Besides we still have AOB on the wage bill.

Andy O'Brien will resume training this week with Leeds United and will be available for selection.
The club brought disciplinary action against the player following his refusal to play against Burnley on the 19th November 2011. It was announced at that time that the player's future would be determined after a full investigation.
The investigation has led to a fuller understanding of the issues that the player has faced since the start of the season, which has seen him seek specialist medical treatment at the Sporting Chance Clinic for depression. It is felt he is now ready to recommence training and the club will facilitate any further treatment that is required.
The club said: "We were exceptionally disappointed when Andy refused to play before the Burnley game and felt let down. It is now apparent that there were a number of issues that he was dealing with at that time which affected him in a way we could not imagine and he was not in a right state of mind to make such decisions. On this basis we believe he deserves a second chance and we will do everything we can to assist him."
The club would appeal to its fans to support the player on his road back to first team action.

That would be brilliant if true. Kilgallon was excellent at leeds. Had pace to get back to defend when he played high up the field, when the opposing team were through and a goal for them was expected.

Leeds should make a move for Frank Ohandza (19) from Buriram PEA F.C in the Thai premier league, 19 goals in 20 league games... To me he could be something special. We'd be able to get him for around £250,000 - £500,000

I lived in thailand for 7 years and watched the thai premier league and to be honest its not much better than a pub league,its so slow and a wash with african no bodies,so i doubt this guy could step up to the plate to be honest!!

Becchio and mccormack will do upfront as becchio is starting to pick up his form now and mccormack will score every now and then and we cant afford a striker thats better than what we have got maybe get another loan player or a freeby but we might aswel just use nunez and forsell as our spares this season . more than likely grayson will revert to 4-2-3-1 which leaves us with more than enough strikers to finish the season so we need another CDM and a CB

Goalkeeper Paul Rachubka has returned to Leeds United after coming to the end of his loan with League One side Tranmere Rovers.

PLEASE! give it a rest he wont be playing in the first team so why keep going on.
