Popey reckons Ronnie Moore Could be in the running for coach
Believable1

Not a good choice. His best days are gone

Hope not when he managed the Millers he used to have about 12 pints in the local afterwards, as you could imagine he was in some state EVERY sat night.

Does Ronnie speak Italiano? probably a prerquisite for the job.

Watford head coach/manager has just resigned, very interesting, Italian as well, does anybody no if he has connections with MC or Salerno??

I reckon Popey needs to get back to Billy Smarts, they are missing a clown

Simon Grayson was seen in Leeds according to a mate. I know he could be visiting family or whatever but I hope he was meeting Cellino. God I hate international breaks!
Believable33
Unbelievable15
{Ed013's Note - His family live in Bedale. He has indicated that he would like the job through his agent}
All over new now site. Let's hope it's true. I would sooner have Larry back than any of the other names touted around.

I like simon could do a lot worse and I don't think we could do too much better. I rate him very higly :)
Agree2

Not keen on Grayson. Going back to an old club rarely works and I wasn't impressed at the way he seemed to lose the dressing room and couldn't organise the defence. I don't think his Italian is that good either. Would prefer Clarke.

Hesslian, is Clarke fluent in Italian?
Agree2
Disagree0
I would be happy with Graysoon coming back. We played some good football under his management. After dealing with Bates selling his best players Cellino should not be a problem
Agree0
Disagree0
No manager could organise a defence with neil collins in it, worst cb we've had in 20 years. Remember he was manager under bates, did wonders with peanuts transfer budget.
Agree0
Disagree0
Larry, without the pressures and negative spin of bates endlessly contradicting him would, I reckon, be a different ball game to how it was before. A good guy and manager with no support. Bring it on. At least it will be more entertaining than we have had to out up with since ( and I remember Barnsley and Preston before someone chips in with the rose tinted routine).
Agree0
Disagree0
Sounds like Garcia could be going to Watford so sounds like he might be out the running. I'd be happy with Clarke or Grayson tbh. I think Grayson has learnt a lot from his time with us and since then so hopefully he's improved and it's not like our defence has been all that great with the managers since him either.
Agree0
Disagree0
Not a fan of grayson but mcc only seems to allow 6 weeks trials so i'm happy for grayson to prove me wrong.
Agree0
Disagree0
Whilst I would prefer Clarke, Grayson for me could always throw on a player that would change the game & try to win it. He had a bit of nouse to tactically change it if we were under the kosh.

Del Fabro loan confirmed on Official Site.
Season long loan with option to buy - has anyone seen the amount?
Believable24

Any good and what position does he play?
Agree0

Unproven centre half who has played a handful of games for Cagliari in Serie A, perhaps one for the future as he is another Cellino 'loan to buy'

I'd love Larry back. He's Leeds & if we learned to defend under him with our attacking options we'd rip this league apart sooner rather than later. Him and Massimo= passion with a capital P & I'm sure it would work!

So Fulham apparently want to re-unite Smith with McCormack.
Well, he is 8 inches taller, so let say £500k per inch, would make him worth £13mill.
Believable22
Unbelievable15
Our days of been a feeder club to anyone have gone, the way I see it is we mugged Fulham with Ross but we don't need the money and I think smithy will be in any new managers plans as he gives us that extra dimension to change a game if needed.
Agree2
Disagree0
It says that Fulham are willing to pay £1.4m according to various sources. Maybe if we got £2m for him then we should let him go. Smith out and Adryan now confirmed is absolutely fine by me.
Agree0

I wouldn't be happy to see him leave for £2m. As mentioned, Smith can be a game changer and is well worth hanging on to.
MM

Don't think our strike force is decent enough to be able to afford selling him, I know we've a few come in but we don't know if they can cut it yet. As Mad Mick said he can change games and I like having his height as an option

Think M C will say no no no, 4 mil we will talk .

Leicester want 1.2 mil for Chris wood, sell smith and maybe go for him-although I know wages may be a stumbling block

Del Fabro and Montenegro will be signing tomorrow and possibly one other, could be English?. Do not think Redders will get the job, imo not ready to do it yet. Unless Massimo says try it out if your crap you go back to academy. Hope not would like Clarke to get it. Team was what I was hoping for its good to see the young ones getting in and they played well, midfield average age 21, brilliant this is planning for the future. Now need to get rid of rest on Monday.
Believable19
Unbelievable6
Kind of don't want Redders to get the job. Don't get me wrong I think he's a huge asset for the club but would be worried that he'd end up getting the sack and we'd end up losing him completely. Rather keep him bringing the talent through the ranks and get someone else in as head coach
Agree7
Disagree0
Totally agree, also think if we can get Clarke at E R then we should .
Having someone with his experience would be an asset .
Del Fabro is highly rated cent def, Bel had a much netter game Sat, so some signs of hope!

Montenegro was a population of over 625,000. It would be a sqaud rotation that Claudio Ranieri would be proud of. Thinking about it - an Italian President and Ranieri who cannot seem to hold a job down for very long - appears to be the ideal combination.
