I do speedy. That's not a wedding vow so don't get excited nor Berm jealous. We've spent a little bit of cash on purchase of ER and player recruitment. Balancing the books only sensible provided it's around that 20m figure for his sale.

I actually dont, (not saying it won't happen if someone stumps up £20m and Negrado signs) I just don't think Rad can afford to. He has spent big and it feels like a concerted push rather that a 2-3 year plan. If we fall flat this year FFP and players promised promotion when they signed leaving could knock us back down a peg for a while. If this is an all or nothing year you don't let the big hitter leave.

Yes, and if somebody is going to give 20 million he should go. If the rumors of Negredo coming are true, even more so. He will be our first choice striker, he is a different class to anything we have had since Viduka left. He scored 9 goals in the premier league last season, in a bad boro side who barely created a chance a game

Cant see Negredo coming in - he would have to take a huge cut in wages or he would be on 3 or 4 times as much as everyone else and that would surely unsettle the rest of the squad?

He will need a big name signing to replace him if he issued or there will be tremors around ER with the fans and it just undoes all the work put in so far. I think woody will struggle to emulate last season tbh as now the tactical genius has gone,

I think he will go to prem. And possible struggle. He did a great job for us last season and I'm not saying I want him to go. But I just have a feeling that he wants to move on, and looks like our style of play is going to be somewhat more imaginative than relying on him to score every goal

I didn't go on Saturday Speedy, but talking to someone who did, he said Leeds played better when Wood went off, as before that they were trying to get the ball to him ASAP. So, you may be right.
